I just realized that ame tried to implement two systems from other books and completely messed it up

The relationship score from endless summer is a complete mess and doesn't make sense because you can literally get Ivy to be in love with you and Adam/Derek/Mackenzie to hate you but in the end this is completely ignored and it shows that the only reason they made this was to force people to pay to have allies to win

And now they're trying to implement mw/thm/tcatf system but the very first scene is impossible to get without spending diamonds? I know it's only the first chapter and it's still early to say but given history from other books this one will probably be another pay to win one
