hi! i saw bmc10 last night, so here are some of my favorite parts of it that were changed from the original script!

— the show is presented in-universe as a 10 year middle borough high school class reunion!

— jake follows in his parents’ footsteps and flees the country because he was laundering money…

— i did like the expensive headphones a guy that i’d kinda be into scene and i can appreciate post-hs expensive headphones. it was cute. i still don’t ship it but i was gushing and so giddy. how cute are they!!

— during do you wanna hang?, brooke is actually right in the room when chloe tries to seduce jeremy 😭 on the other end of the couch the three are sitting on! chloe sits on the top part of the couch between jeremy and brooke, turns brooke’s head away, and ends up draping herself over jeremy’s lap during the song. he can’t really get up due to the squip, but she doesn’t kiss him or anything, she’s just a little handsy and giggly and is still clearly very tipsy. it’s a lot less invasive than the original do you wanna hang? scene and i love that. that scene really needed a rewrite and i think this was a lot better! this is the version i’m gonna incorporate into my writing i think, because this scene was never handled with grace until now and it had honestly turned s/a into a punchline and made chloe a bad person for quite literally no reason. it did absolutely nothing for the plot

— additional dywh? comment: katlyn screamed “RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!!!!!” (after “wanna get inside my diaper boooyyyy…. BECAUSE I’M DRESSED LIKE A BABY”) yeah. agreed

— i also met her after the show and told her i loved chloe. number one chloe defender sorry you can pry her from my cold dead hands

— during the pants song, right when the scene changes from the heere house to the mell house, we can see michael laying on the couch curled up in a blanket instead of hitting his bong which is even more devastating and honestly very teenage boy who feels like he just lost his best friend :( when george gets up to sing his part, michael is in his hoodie and some checkered patterned boxers. the fit goes hard!

(my memory is spotty and also i didn’t get any footage because i’m a good boy so don’t ask me, but these were my fav bits besides the cast sharing their fav memories!)
