         lorna dane isn’t an easily  intimidated  woman  -  but she likes to think she has enough  SELF RESTRAINT  and the ability to offer respect to someone else who deserves it.    “  i’ve  ...  got to ask.  what is your shield and  ...  metal bandana  made of ?  ”    it felt like something she’d  NEVER  handled before ever in her life.   @lassoedtruths.

         “  not a pick up line  -  ”   it probably doesn’t matter,  she’s guessing  -  a bit of a shot in the dark !  but it’s not like lorna really  ...  cares.    “  but i’ve seen you around,  and i  swear  that’s the only jacket and pants i’ve seen you in.  don’t you have anything else ?  and,  again.  not a pickup line.  ”     @astromancr

           “  all i’m saying  --  ”   she’ll start at the black haired girl,  holding two rolls of toilet paper in her hands.    “  the  LEAST  the dude who trapped us here coulda done,  was supply  two-ply  toilet paper.  ”    @bxtterhawkeye

          “  closure isn’t real  --  ”    a snip of her hair,  it’s been one of those  NOT-SO-GREAT  days for lorna.    “  so i found that the  second best  option is to just cut your hair,  and pretend it  never  happened.  ”      @actualwzard.

         “  brown or black ?  ”    long green hair tumbles down her back,  head tilts as she holds two bottles of hair dye.   “  or purple ?  ”    really,  all she knows for the moment is that she plans to cut it.   @cfmidnighter.

         green eyes are sharp,  she’ll let out a sigh.    “  ...  which one am i speaking to right now ?  ”   it’s her  RIGHT  to know,  even if the three of them are basically the same girl.    “  not that it really matters,  but it’d make me feel better before we go into  ...  whatever  you wanted to talk to me about.  ”    @thestepfordthree.

       it’s his  WHITE  hair that catches her eye;  she already knows  -  he’s like her.  that’s not  BLEACH,  lorna  knows  what bleached hair looks like and this wasn’t it.    “  cool hair  --  ”   she’ll offer as a conversation starter,  her own  GREEN  hued locks curling around a finger.  and she’s not exactly subtle  ...  but she  REALLY  just wants to know if he’s a mutant or powered in another way.   @fastmaximoff.

        eyebrows will  furrow  -  but she can’t say it’s the  ODDEST  question she’s been asked.    “  yeah,  that’s a no.  though if i come across him,  i’ll be  SURE  to mention the talking raccoon is looking for him.  ”

Wanda Maximoff and Lorna Dane: Magneto’s Daughters

       hello !  if any of you guys are interested in a starter from lorna dane,  pls hit the like !  i’m still tryna find a voice for her so  ...  individual plots & starters should help kick that off hehe.

“time will definitely tell,” she hummed with a nod of her head as she begun unwrapping the cookie dough, pulling off a bit to plop in her mouth, “this is got to be the coziest prison i have ever been in,” wanda scrunched up her nose playfully before smiling back softly, “we will always have each other. so lead the way.”

         “  then i feel like we can just  go ahead  and let time do her thing  --  ”  lorna’ll respond,  plopping down on one of the couches.  whilst they are perhaps not the  ...  BEST  of friends,  lorna is comfortable enough to laze around her sister,  and let her  guard  down.    “  you’re telling me.  i’d still like to be home,  but at least i have my powers.  ”    a pause,  green eyes will travel to her.    “  and you,  of course.  ---  so i was thinking getting food covered ?  cooking or ordering in ?  it’s up to you.  ”

       ❛ ERIK STILL OBSERVED HER CLOSELY, noticing her odd, green hair and seemingly flippant attitude. no name came to mind, but erik couldn’t help but summon a blurry face at the forefront of his memories. of a woman he had briefly known, and ultimately abandoned after an affair. it couldn’t be–and yet, erik realized that the coincidences were too profound. he hadn’t met anyone with his same ability before, not one that could even be up to par with the strength of his gift, but her. after he hovered the metal projectiles close to ground and stabilized her some, he approached her. “your name,” he spoke, gaze searching hers for an answer first. “what’s your name?” even if she wasn’t who he thought she was, he still considered their encounter a fateful one.

           she already  KNOWS  -  even though she so  desperately  wants to deny it.  but how can lorna deny this ?  it was easy when it was in the back of her head:  ‘  oh yeah,  that dude  MAGNETO  .  he’s a mutant with the same power as her  .  there’s  GOT  to be tons of those walking around.  ’  but lorna knew;  HELL,  all of the students at xavier’s knew too.  and now she can  FEEL  it  -  not only the great strength in his power,  but how it works almost  ...   flawlessly  against hers.  fingers will flex  ...  lets go  of the metal does she,  it’ll fall into  HIS  hands.  lorna neither moves forward,  nor back  -  the greenhaired mutant   (  she’ll have to  dye it  back to black again soon  )  stands her ground.    “  lorna.  polaris.  whatever floats your boat.  ”   her answer is short,  straight to the point.  and her arms will cross,  resting against her biceps.    “  ---  and what’s yours ?  ”   as if she didn’t already  KNOW.  sometimes she preferred to  PRETEND  that she was in the dark on knowing things.
