Love how we are supposed to pretend we work for reasons other than money. Do you want me to hang around for vibes, or to extract productivity from my labor?

The only struggle is class struggle.

Ron DeSantis really doesn’t want you to know that he and his wife Casey are accused of illegally laundering $10 million intended for Medicaid through their charity, Hope Florida, to his PAC to fight ballot measures they didn’t like. They then threatened the Orlando Sentinel for reporting the facts.
This has echoes of what happened in Mississippi when Brett Favre somehow ended up with millions of dollars in state funds sent to his daughter’s college and to him for speaking engagements he never did - millions which were intended for welfare recipients.
Classic example of “rules for thee but not for me.” Republicans are currently trying to add work requirements for people to be able to get Medicaid, but at the same time illegally sending those Medicaid funds to a political campaign, and crying about poor people who don’t deserve “handouts” while giving handouts to wealthy people instead.
TLDR; When Republicans get ahold of money meant for poor people, they always find a way to steal it!

I wish they could invent a medical device that temporarily transfers your symptoms and pain to the doctor treating you and it worked like a shock collar. “I think light exercise would-.” and then bam they’re rolling around the floor clutching their stomach in agony and dry heaving.

Last night in downtown Portland- 4th & Harvey Milk.
A collaboration with Digislaps, a well known projectionist in Portland, for a feature to spotlight political expression from various voices of the community.
Our art is protest. Our creativity is resistance. Our voices matter- and together, they're impossible to ignore.
