New Sonic and the Black Knight Fic Idea:

Shadow gets sent to Camelot to search for Sonic after he’s unable to return home after the events of the game for whatever reason, and after being spotted using his chaos and/or doom powers the people start assuming he’s some kind of skin walking demon imposter of Lancelot. Thus begins a country wide manhunt for this poor guy who’s deadass just trynna find this blue moron and go home so his friends will shut the hell up about him being missing.

Bonus points if Sonic can’t rub his two brain cells and realize the guy they’re talking about is HIS version of Shadow until literally seeing him face to face (maybe he never learned about the doom powers so the reports threw him off the scent or smth idk)

Lancelot is very normal about this information, and the fact that his supposed alternate’s first move upon seeing his KING is to scream at him and try and strangle him to death with zero hesitation.
