Reimagining: Count Vladislaus Straud IV

Right now, makeovers of Vlaidslaus Straud seem to be all the rage. Some people like to keep him Victorian and creepy, otherwise modernise him and others (@anotherplumbob) just create a weirdly yet enjoyably erotic version.

I’ve always struggled with Vlad’s face and of all the Sims in the game, his features really distract me and mean that I can’t take vampires seriously. I decided to get to work to reimagine him as a vampire that has kept up with times, and creating a face that looks more like the other Sims in the game. (I guess you could argue that the vampiric powers affect his face over the years, but I’m not about that fantasy.)

I’m really happy with this look and think that this suave gentleman is much more inline with my style of gameplay. I think you can still imagine it’s the same Sim (just about) and I can still use his Dark Form to create a version with bone white skin and razor sharp teeth, ready for his next meal.

The only room I managed to furnish in the new house was the kitchen. I’m really into decorating cosy little kitchens at the moment, and this one is no exception!
