well, regardless, have some funny looking birds, feat. a more recent pic titled “little guy conference” , in which there are little guys and they are having a conference

#sighs.#i miss them dearly #(i think our microraptor is the single best model+texture we've made so far #perfect ratio of smallness to detail and the iridescence means it actually has shading #for the most part we're fine with not being able to perfectly remake any of our models but man.#i wish we didn't lose this one.)

Microraptor !!!

Another well known dinosaur from china I've made in blockbench :)

Their fossils have been found on Jiufotang formation,and show their impressive strange plumage.With wings in their legs,they glided around hunting for its prey.

They had a glossy black tone to their feathers,which we know by studying their fossilised pigment cells! (Here it's blue bc shiny :3)

Here is it with open wings :)

GREAT NEWS: loss of all progress gives us a great excuse to choose a new mascot, as dakotaraptor is likely invalid!

we'd been holding onto it anyway, since it was the first model we'd made and we were very attached to it, but now that it's all gone we can choose a New Boy!

#let's be honest: it's probably gonna be another dromaeosaur #or maybe anzu so it'll remain a creature from hell creek...#hell we could even go for edmontosaurus annectens
