Want to participate in a cute marine life and tropical/subtropical freshwater/brackishwater themed TF zine to raise money for manatee charities? The Wires and Waves zine is open for more participants!

The charities chosen are Save the Manatee Club (https://savethemanatee.org/), Friends of Blue Spring State Park (https://www.friendsofbluespringstatepark.org/) and Current Problems (https://www.currentproblems.org/).

Our only rules about who can participate are 18+ participants only, and we do not allow "AI artists", people who participate in harassment and people who have credible allegations of abuse/assault/etc. against them. We do not exclude people based on what fictional content they draw or artistic ability.

All skill levels are allowed and the minimum is a little doodle. Things such as crafts, toy photos, collages and any other visual art form that can be put into a zine are allowed. You can do as little or as much as you want, as long as you're having fun!!! What you make and how you incorporate the theme is also up to you. Anything from merformers, to bots interacting with wildlife to even "beach episode" type things are allowed as long as they fit within a PG-13 rating.

The deadline for submitting something (your doodle or other art form) is August 20th.

Posting another doodle of Twitch with my manatee plush, and also using this to promo an ezine.

I'm organizing a Transformers ezine to raise money for Save the Manatee Club, Friends of Blue Spring State Park and Current Problems. The theme is sea life and tropical/subtropical freshwater and brackishwater life, and you can do whatever you want with the theme as long as it's pg-13 and at least loosely relates it somehow.

Message me for the link to the discord for the project. No applications, everyone who is interested is accepted (18+ only), all mediums that could be put into an ezine are accepted (NO AI), minimum to participate is a doodle or other medium's equivalent (you can do a full piece if you want, it's just that I want to find ways for people to participate even if a small doodle is all you have time for). Only rule we have about what content people make outside of the zine is that we do not allow people who throw temper tantrums over what content people make outside of the zine.

It's not going to be handled as a super professional project, more like people who are interested all having fun making something together. Schedule and specs will be discussed when discord invites close. Zine will be distributed through people sending us proof of donation over a certain amount (that is to be discussed) to any of the three charities in exchange for the zine.

Discord invites close on wednesday at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
