We have successfully returned the boat – much unpacking and checking of cupboards. It seems we used 109 litres of diesel, leaving me £31:70 to pay, at £1:30 per litre (less deposit). No fee for the tiller. It seems it went well and six of us are good to come again next year.

Last alfresco breakfast, 06:29 - EGB
Here I am, eating it, and Leonardo Devinci has not turned up to do the painting. What has turned up is A LOT of trains, particularly long freight trains, on the railway bridge about four boat lengths behind the boat. These didn’t bother Adrian as he lives about that close to the rails at home.
