Three years back, I created 13 alternate accounts on Discord and inserted them into my friend group over the course of a few months, pretending each of them was a new person. They have their own personality and typing / grammar distinctions, and their own fake life events and stories that I've had to keep meticulous track of. Some of them even engaged romantically with real people, though none in the present day. Nowadays the original friend group is split up, with some fake people being present in about each server that still has some kind of connection to the former group. One active group chat even has six alts and one real person. I literally have to keep this up like a puppetmaster because these pretend people have real, important connections to people I still care about. It's hard but I literally don't know how to resolve or change the situation without causing a wave of dispair and destruction in one way or another.

This is a very confusing matter. Why? This kind of apps are generally used to have a plural-special place. I don't want to imagine losing my place because of some disrespectful people invading our spaces.
But at the same time, it's not my app so I can't object to anything said by the maker and the developer. Also, as I remember singlets already use this app as people who have plural friends.
I can't simply say anything about this topic, really. Nonetheless, I must refuse the idea of normalising singlets in our plural-main spaces. Because here the norm is being plural, right? This is only my opinion, anyway.

normalize non systems using simply plural. its a great app! people with physical/mental illnesses can use it to track their symptoms, you can use it to track sleep, genderfluid people can track if they feel femme/masc/nb, you can ADD FRIENDS and they can SEE this stuff and even get notifications about it
people who make ocs can keep track of their ocs, you can literally do all kinds of stuff
but the most important thing is that it will destigmatize the app
now if someone glances over your shoulder and sees simply plural on ur homescreen they cant just assume ur a system. now people who are scared to download the app because of stuff like that can. it will be so cool

The future is plural!
And yes, I mean it!
No, I don’t want kids to go through the things I did as a system that has traumagenic origins, and the idea that I would stems from disingenuous arguments surrounding the fact its a phrase used heavily in endogenic spaces. The idea we want to hurt kids or have them be hurt is stemmed only from wanting to discredit anything endogenics say or do.
But then what do I want?
I want people to be able to live their lives as unapologetically themselves, I want people to be able to cope with their lives in whatever way aids them; and that inevitably means that there may be more systems in the future.
I want plurality to be normalized, I want the stigma around being plural to cease, I want our existence to simply be another thing that exists, I want us to have resources and help for those that need it in places devoid of bias and stigmatization.
I want plurality to have its place in the future of this world.
and thats why I want our future to be plural, and stand by the phrase.

okay hm i got sum questies
context: "think hello and wait" is a term invented by @combexperience in the "sideblog with everyone" discord server, which had a lot of systems on the upkeep and the number only increased. it is used when someone is saying things that seem plural, like "i have a little man in my brain that makes me eat 3 meals a day." we actually have an emote for this exact purpose, as well as a customized little starboard for that emote. whole thing. anyways i was under the impression that it was localized to there but i saw my mutual using it the other day and was like what ‼️ so. i recognize rhe possibility of a nosweep but if 1 person who isnt in that discord votes yes i will go insane like actually

I'm planning to pin it for my household. This is our biggest problem.
(I hope they read my page and see this.)
Heres a reminder for you that being dissociated isn't limited to the common misconception where you are frozen in place, incapable of doing anything or even thinking, or experiencing a significant time gap,, those things. (This is a very important post, read till bottom so im happy!)
And while its hard to spot the milder signs when you're dissociating, don't worry i got you covered by bringing awareness, im showing what those signs could look like:
Dazing/blanking out several times
Hands looking weird (depersonalization)
Surroundings also looking weird (derealization)
Feeling detached emotionally, physically, or both
Light-headedness
Less reactive in responding
Forget things more often
Unable to focus or keep concentration straight
And many more..!
When you have multiple of those signs at once, then chances are you are dissociating (extra note that it can also co-occur with derealization/depersonalization). While it can be caused by various factors, i would like to add that it may or may not get worse as time passes and no one wants that thing to snowball until it got too bad (remember, preventing now is better than dealing later) so having a few tips would help:
Grounding (sensory): listening to music, feeling different textures, paying attention to things in your surroundings, trying different fragrant or scents, have some snacks to occupy your senses
Grounding (physically): feel your chest as you breathe, get your body moving to redirect focus, splash some cold water, hold something you can squeeze (such as a stress ball)
Practice being mindful. As it can help you re-anchor back to reality faster, regulate better, building more resilience, increasing awareness of oneself's state
Sometimes we go do our day without giving a thought that were detached from reality, usually by going autopilot and scrolling through social medias without being aware (well, atleast for me) and forget lots of things while being dysregulated at the end. So by being aware of the mild signs and incorporating grounding skills im sure memory gaps and those funny aftermath stuffs won't be a problem anymore, have a good day peeps.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that another sign is your hearing feels muffled, that you can hear sounds feel more distant despite close, i thought it could be grouped with the “less reactive” before.
EDIT 2: It is true that sometimes these techniques will not work,, so it's recommended to create a peaceful environment in hopes of going away sooner when waiting it out. grab some videos to watch, put some of your favorite musics or cuddle your soft pillows (if any, pets) and stay comfy! Do not stress about it because it'll be counterproductive. Full explanation at here.
