Well here it is. At 846am Ryan will be 16 years old. We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful young man in our lives. You may test us at times, and we sure appreciate the training for the future with Julia. It is only fitting that got to take you on a college open house this weekend. 💚 There is something to be said about these pre dawn running excursions. Sometimes you need to clear your head before the chaos of the day begins. 💚 when you combine intermittent fasting a few days a week and eating the best superfoods on the planet, amazing stuff happens. 💚when finally realized that i am not gonna win any races and my old broken body can still get stuff done the world just seemed a little easier to navigate. 💚i am my only and toughest competition. I am hard on myself and expect a lot. 💚having a goal and an awesome tribe to keep my grounded helps too. 💚so my advice is don't give up and own your life. I stretched myself way too thin and it drained me. It is back to me my wife kids and family. I am still around to help anyone who needs it. 💚i am on a mission again and will crush my goal. From the ashes we will rise. This is used so often for so many reasons. It is hard to imagine that 18 years ago our lives changed forever. Over the years our nation has risen from the ashes. The evil events by the terrorists on that day took 3000 lives in an instant. As a nation we were stunned, shocked, horrified. The list goes on and on. Well guess what? Our nation has risen and though the towers are gone, a memorial and a bigger shinier building is in its place. I, like so many others will never forget. I, like others wish we could have the 9/12 America back. For one day, my wish is that we stop with all the political BS. Some people are so wrapped up in their hatred towards things that they don't understand or agree with. It is easier for them to hate i guess. I would imagine that at 445 am on September 11th 2001 3000 people were stirring to travel to their destinations. They would not make it home. As a nation we owe them at least 1 day to put aside our differences. I would hope this happens. The two pictures here show the world that our young nation can and will lead the world. The freedom tower is a giant middle finger to those who tried to kill Americans. Today we remember, tomorrow we go back to work. Remember the love and unity of 2001. 🇺🇸 Hello friends. Here we are at the end of another summer. I bet you have been wondering if i was still running like crazy to raise money for the two local VA hospitals. 🇺🇸 Well of course I am. This year is extra special. I am moving my ass 1129 miles. November 29th is the wedding anniversary of my dear friend Eric and his beloved Tonya. She passed away last September after a courageous battle to recover from a massive stroke. 🇺🇸 I would never just run for fun. I need a purpose. My fellow veterans in need are my purpose. I have been blessed with an amazing life. It kills me to see others that i call brothers and sisters suffer. 🇺🇸 I am asking for donations of cash and gift cards for the hospitals. I make the deliveries every year in early December. If you could find it in your heart to help, so many people will be very happy. The last couple of years have been an amazing success.
