Stumbled upon a psot of yours after i started getting back into pokemon, anddd I would like to know more about Lillie in the pmdn eclipse(?) Au, if it's no bother

moonlit journey is actually a pokemon moon nuzlocke I was planning on doing! It was very much inspired by the nuzlocke comic Finding Your Roots, which is an Omega Ruby nuzlocke that takes place in a more PMD setting. I don’t think I’ll ever actually do it due to the fact that I am. Very bad at webcomics/consistently working on stuff. But I do really enjoy the parts I did plan out for it.

As for Lillie - within Moonlit Journey, Nebby and Lillie were combined into one character. Lillie is actually a Cosmog disguised as a Rockruff (Alolan Vulpix within Moonlit Journey, but Rockruff in PMDN cause I wanted to use the first design I made for her). She ends up accidentally sending Mohn to Ultra Space during an accident when she was young, and everyone is under the impression he died so uh… yeah. I will note Gladion is not aware that she was involved (until it is revealed during the climax), and this also obviously makes the situation with Lusamine worse.

Lillie eventually runs away from home just like canon, and ends up living with Kukui. This is where there is some divergence between PMDN and Moonlit Journey, where within PMDN it has the anime Pokemon School with Kukui and Moonlit Journey is about the Island Challenge.

Also yes that is Moon x Lillie! Kinda! The Eevee is technically a version of Moon, but their name is Journey, or Jo for short. They and Lillie are classmates and end up bonding with eachother especially due to them both being the only ones in the class incapable of battling (Journey has a disability she was born with that prevents her from using moves, and the trauma from the Mohn incident gave Lillie a mental block from doing so too).

As for Kaleo… he is a stinky little man. Within Moonlit Journey, he is the starter and Journey’s best friend that takes the Island Challenge with her. He’s still Journey’s best friend within PMDN! But the thing with Kaleo is I was planning on him being one of those rough around the edges starters that gradually grow as people and become the team’s rock but uh. Spoilers but he died before he would’ve got that far.

The thing with Kaleo is he is very suspicious of people in general and unfortunately the combination of Lillie appearing out of nowhere and suddenly living with Kukui, Lillie being very cagey/secretive about her past, him being told to keep Journey safe due to the rise of crime on the islands, and Lillie quickly becoming close with his best friend are all enough to make him very on edge about her. He doesn’t die in PMDN though, so he does eventually reconcile and after he learns what’s actually going on he is kinda like “oh fuck yeah I maybe shouldn’t have assumed the worst”.

sorry I have not answered the ask yet btw I just always get nervous when writing characters that aren’t my own and I wanted to reread lost legends first in order to make sure I’m at least somewhat accurate and just. Have not got around to it.

I’ll copy paste the info I gave in the server:

- they live in Valior, and they are both part of junior rescue team initiative where young pokemon create rescue teams with the guild

- they both didn’t have a partner so they ended up being paired together

- like in canon they don’t get along at first, but eventually they become inseparable

- ash’s goal in this universe is to create the best rescue team, and also befriend people throughout the world

- honestly the main thing here is basically wherever they go they end up with temporary team members, to a point where there’s a bit of a joke where if a pokemon shows off their ash’s team badge to someone, there’s probably a high chance that person will also happen to have that badge too. very “wait you ALSO know that guy?? and are part of the team??”

some extras:

- still determining name of team, probably something like Team Thunderbolt

- May and Max end up as temporary actual travel companions, and I plan on the Alolan Gang also getting badges from him due to him making friends with them while staying in Mysti. Dia, Pearl, and Platinum are also planned to hang out with him and get badges. Unsure who else…

- Pikachu is still adopted by a Kangaskhan and has an adoptive younger sister! I will draw them eventually. I also have some various other thoughts on Pikachu in this universe, but still ironing them out. Also still trying to determine an actual name for him.

- Delia is shiny and half Alolan Raichu and half Kantonian Raichu! This was admittedly mostly for the color scheme lmao

- Ash is a Pikachu/Luxio specifically
