⧏Noriko Kimura (Weaponry) Reference Sheet #3⧐Another reference sheet, this time for Noriko's default weapon, the glaive!

When she first started out as a Magical Girl, the glaive appeared as the "rapidly formed" version. As she fought and gathered experience in using her weapon, however, it evolved over time to become more intricate. The original appearance still shows up when the weapon is initially conjured, but completes soon after. The tip can be empowered with energy to be more effective.

For longer range conflicts, there is a blaster mode, where energy blasts can be fired from the tip of the glaive.

Compellation of the art I've done of my Magireco OC Ririka Kinoto (and her witch/doppel Menthe!) She's a villainous girl who works hard at pretending to be a heroine. Infodump about her below cut.

A 16 year old Magical Girl from Kamihama who attends Mizuna Girl's School. She comes from a wealthy family and plays at being the perfect student, daughter, and heroine, but holds great disdain for most everyone around her after becoming a Magical Girl. She often tries to play her peers against each other both at school and in the Magical Girl world, and comes in after fights to assert herself as victorious. 

Her wish was "I wish for his heart to turn as cold as ice so he will feel nothing for her, just as they deserve," made after the boy she had a crush on rejected her love letter and asked out her best friend instead. She wanted the two to suffer as she had. The boy got devoured by a Witch shortly after the two broke up, and instead of letting the guilt consume her, Ririka allowed her own heart to become just as cold as his was. 

Her power is to numb pain, both in herself and others. Once she learned the true nature of Soul Gems, she felt cheated, as the power is functionally useless, but she still uses it to trick other Magical Girls into thinking she's healed them so they will feel grateful towards her.

Her weapons are a silver buckler polished as shiny as a mirror and a staff that can produce ice crystals and flurries of snow. 

Her witch form is Menthe, the Crystalline Witch whose nature is Circular Reasoning. This witch is made of crystals that endlessly shatter and reform, using whatever is around it to reconstruct herself. She cannot feel the pain of her body breaking apart and fusing back together, but believes if she continues to do so she will surely reach perfection.

In her doppel form, it grows out of her neck and shoulders to form a ring of crystals, and she has to kneel to support the weight of it. While unaware during its use, she experiences a strong sense of relief, unable to feel the pain it inflicts upon her and only the satisfaction of continuous change and power. She thinks she looks ridiculous when it’s described to her. She’s nicknamed it “Pon de Crystal,” not knowing its real name, because it resembles a certain donut mascot.

Me and my friend got into Madoka Magica fully, we watched the first two movies...and of course I had to draw my goober as a magical girl. Cassie absolutely had to wish for freedom

I felt so mean designing this hehe. The soul gem is meant to represent a cage.

My tablet is broken and i was too impatient and could not figure out how to draw her gavel on my phone lmao so here is what we are getting for now until i redraw her 😭

She's a murderous magical girl cult leader and i love her. Sharing her lore bc I'm obsessed with her.

A kind, cutesy, and polite mystery writer, with an unexpected fascination with grotesque mystery stories. Eden portrays herself as a serene and thoughtful individual…almost unnervingly so. She always gives off an air of mystique, and seems to be analyzing everything around her, which it turns out is true, as she can read others with disturbingly accurate detail, and will psychoanalyze them to their faces. Eden talks enthusiastically about her writing, often seeming unaware…or maybe just unconcerned, about how creepy her musings can come off. She is a true Romantic and a huge escapist, dreaming of a better world than the one she lives in now, but is the opposite of naive—in fact, she is very aware of the fundamental issues of society, and hates those who cannot see the world for how it truly is. Eden is very cynical, and believes humans are sinful creatures who need a powerful authority figure to scare them into line. She has a superiority complex, believing herself to be better than most people, and believes that something must be done to cleanse the world of evil, but her cynicism has caused her to lose faith in humanity.

The only thing keeping her going is her dream of fostering connection between people and trying to make the world better the best she can.

Eden traveled to Japan to study English and linguistics, in hopes of becoming an English teacher in Japan, but she is finding it rather dull and dreams for more. She is only seeing more and more evil in the world and has begun to wonder if truly good people even can exist in a world with no “godly power” reigning over it.

HISTORY

-Grew up Christian and went to Catholic school.

-Parents divorced when she was eight

-Her life was often a mess. She was picked on as a child and had bottled up emotions over her parent's divorce. She often had to switch houses and life felt unstable.

-She retreated to storytelling as a form of escapism

-As a fan of mystery stories, she became invested in true crime and real-life stories for her own research. Eden saw how cruel people could be firsthand as well.

-Over time, not only did she recognize the selfishness of average people, but also she started to see the corruption in society itself and how it drove people to crime. And, through reading and learning of history, she saw a cycle of abuse by the privileged 1% becoming corrupted by "sins" like pride and greed and finding scapegoats to violently oppress.

-Eden saw religion as a dirty tool used to oppress people as well, but also was fascinated by how much control it could put people under.

-Eden became extremely disillusioned with the world, and retreated even more into her books, using them as an outlet to spread her views. She ended up earning fame when she started publishing them. Her novels were praised for their characters, who were notably complex and morally gray, but also very twisted and violent. They all explored deep philosophical questions, and Eden was able to spread her viewpoints on society to like-minded people through her readers

In this AU, upon meeting Kyubey, Eden jumped at the opportunity to have the power to actually change the world. She wanted to punish those who got away with their crimes. Her wish was to have the power to cleanse the grief and suffering in the world. Her gavel creates holy light, and her ability is to see whether or not people are "sinners", along with the ability to take grief away from other magical girls at the cost of darkening her own soul gem. She kills both witches and anyone she deems a sinner, leaving messages from "The Angel of Death" that she hopes will wake up humanity to their sinful ways. Upon learning the truth of Witches, Eden starts an organization called "The Eye of Providence". The goal of the organization is to "turn the world into a paradise" by finding someone Eden can manipulate into making a wish so that Eden will retain her sanity when she becomes a Witch. Eden then plans to siphon the grief from all of the magical girls in the world, and create a barrier covering it so that magical girls never have to turn into witches and she can reign as a god in a paradise where no evil will exist ever again.

I was rereading Kazumi Magia, and saw this minor character design named Sumire Akane, She seemed great! but...her design...

Its very bad...so... I redesigned her I gave her a sort of shrine maiden design? since she had sacred knots on her design.
