Gelli Mae - This girl is now a very diffent person from the Gelli I was talking to in my last blog. She is now a more matures version of herself. She's a quite lady though. Maria Angeline - Angeline! Since Grade-7,this kid has been a very small lady. A certified EXO-L. This lady is the leader of their sub-unit "Oppa Hunters". There's only one reason if you'll see her running towards her other member(Oppa Hunters),while screaming on top of her voice; it means that one of her Oppa's is nearby.

Krishalyn - Abines! You've been a very good classmate to me. You're always this girl who's always prepares in anything. I know some of us,even myself,tease you for having big eyes. Remember,embrace it with all of your hearts 'cause our imperfections are what makes us unique. You're beautiful,don't ferget that.

Angelika - Bics! I know that we've been on something also. But,I'm thankful that our friendship had come this far. You've been very patient with me through these years. The mere presence of your cute little height and face makes me smile effortlessly. Thank you for all the free calls you've given to me when I needed it the most.

Joriza - Neng! I know that we aren't that close. Having small interactions with you is a pleasure to me. You have such as amazing skillsz in communicating through English and debating. The Cool Gamers

Al Policar - Mr. Worlwide Cool. As his nickname sugests,this man right here is super cool. We’ve been classmates since Grade-7 and all I can say is;HIS SKIN COMPLEXION IS STILL AS WHITE AF(siuro nung nagpasabog ang Diyos ng kaputian,isang drum sinalo ni Alpo,tas ako eh nagpayong,kaya walang napunta sakin). This guy’s really excel in dancing. His also Suga’s(BTS member) look-a-like. Just keep being cool Alpo. Ps. Ganda po ng mata mo.

Cristian Rey - Gadds! The only guy in the room who wears a pair og glasses,which makes it easier to identify him. Funny thing about him is that when he tries to make us laugh by telling a random,out of this worls jokes,which I didn’t know where he gets it,he always recieve negative feedbacks from us. That’s okay man. It’s better if our(class) interactions stay that way. Your impersonating skill are also funny and on point. Keep on being the Gadd that I have known since Grade-7. Christian - Gaci! Frist word that pops up in my head when I hear his name is WEIRD. All of his movements and the way he speak is actually weirf for me,and I don’t know why. Anyways,he really has an exemptional intellectual capacity. That’s all I can say since we’re not that close,and i hope that we would be close as THE DAY is fast approaching.

Nicole - Aian! Aian and I are friends since Grade-7. I didn’t know that she was a good singer and guitarist back then until I discovered it when we were in Grade-9. Her “Siopao-like” face is very lovely. She’s always teased by her squadmates as a lesbian,but in reality,she’s a real beauty.

James Van - Cusing! Since we’re not that close to each other,all I can say is he’s a quite guy. He’s always being teased for his dark complexion. In times like that,I always expect him to burst out of anger,but he didn’t,not even once. Your patience’s really long.

Adrian Joshua Marie - Marie! Known as “Goblin” and the guy who always goes to school late. He is the main joker of this group. His main target for his jokes is Christpher Suyu(End-Row). Even though this guy’s always late,his knowledge on almost everything,specially history and contemporary issues,is superb. He’s also a certified Potterhead. Though he is always teased for having a dark complexion,his savageness will always leave those who bully him speechless.

Jaber Paul - Japugo(tama ba ako?)! I don’t know anything much about him. All I know is that he is a trashtalker,tall and horny(according to most of his friends)guy. I even remembered “That” ESP moment,because of the word “horny”,while writing this. LOL

Mark John Lester - Yvetteee! Now,to the most annoying of them all,meet Lester. He has this habit of annoying anyone the think of. He always slaps my butt(please lang,wala na nga akong ubat,mas finaflat mo pa) for no reason,which hurts bigtime. But again,being one of the Cool Gamers,this fellow here doesn’t fail to make us laugh with his jokes,though,sometimes,it hurts a lot. You cannot win on a debate,regarding on insults to each other,against him. Ps. Maghihiwalay rin kayo ni Y mo,jk. Siyempre stay strong ulit. Yiiieeee

We've been classmates for almost 3 years,but I can say that this year,we've been near to being close. He kinda give off SCARY AURA when you meet him for the first time,but he's not. Though he get's really scary when he gets mad. Keep on supporting my loading business Joe😂😂😂. Stay strong kayo ni Danica.

Jerameel - President! We've been classmates since Grade-7,and all I can say is he's the most gentle and kindes personI've ever met,yet. He' really approachable and selfless. We have been making fun out of him(sometimes),but his patience for us really never drops. He's also very tall,and his body-build makes him a greater athlete. Thank you for being our president. It has been an honor to meet you.

Aivan - "Lactobacillus Protectus." Calanoki! One of the high-fliers in the field of maths. Aivan may be the subject of jokes(most of the time) thrown by us,but this doea not stop him in excelli g. He's irritating and annoying,but you better just keep your patience high and be the one to adjust,'cause if not,he' be mad and annoyed with you as well,10× of what you feel. He's the noisest in our room btw.

John Christpher - "Pagkabansaaaaaaaa." Suyuuuuu! This man really rarely talks,unless you talk to him fiest. I remember him being this small guy,but I ws surprised this year since he got taller in a small span of time. His attention is always called by ou Filipino teacher for spinning his face towel in his hands.LOL. He's mostly the subject of the jokes by the Cool Gamer(you'll know them later),but he can make them shut their mouths with his savageness.

Danica - Marraaa! Girl addicted in playing gmes such as DOTA,LOL,etc. She's usually sen with her bestfriend,Joriza,or with her,eheemm,boyfriend,Joe. She's good in doing an investigatory project,directing a film(you should really make something out of this),singing(I remember her representing us,the grade 7 students,in a singing competition back then),and she was a former cosplayer(she told us back then). Stay strong with Joe.Yieeeee💖💖

Aira Bianca -This ladt is the best advicer I have ever met. It's true,her advices always works and always helpful. If you need a shoulder to cry on,approach her. If you wan to talk with her,go to her,and she'll gladly listen to you even if you talk nonsense. She'll help you in your problems willingly even if her's is bigger. She has been a good friend to me,even though I have not. I've seen you being depressed months ago,and I hope you have overcame it now. If you didn't yet,I'm here/We're here to help you out.

Aby - Abymaeeeeeeee! We've been really close lately,but even though you're not that close,you can say that this girl is oozing with self-confidence,specially with her face/looks. The "Girl-Who-Pays-The-Last". This girl is the one who always,ALWAYS, pays her school fees,actuay any fees,last. She's weird,REALLY REALLY WEIRD. Queenalyn - Living proof of "Dora The Explores",not because she's adventorous,but because of her hair. A certified VIP (BigBang) and a Blackjack (2ne1). You'll always hear her voice in discussions,telling/sharing her opinion/knowledge about the topic even though,somwtimes,it's wrong. She's approachable and kind,but once you insult her idols,you better prepare yourself for the body-tearing words that she's gonna throw back at you.

Christine Joy - Chemi/Kemi! The most studious girl in our room,I think? She' very dedicated in studying. You seldom see her using her phone. Instead,you'll always see her reviewing or learning our past/future topics. She's also a tall,beautiful lady,which makes her even more awesome. Ps. Neng,don't put too much pressure on yourself in studying (I can see it). We're still too young(charr) to be on situations like that. Focus on what you're really good at. That way,victory will come to you in an easier way.

Kaycel - Kays/Kayce(di ko alam spelling! Dubbed as the "Maria Clara" of the class. But lately,she's has been very talkative. Your "Kalog" side is already appearing,and I wish that it could've happened a long time ago since it's funnier to be with you when you are in your "Kalog" mode. Continue excelling in your studies,specially in maths. You're really really beautiful though.

Daniella - Dan! Uuuuyyyyyyy(Daniella's tone). This girl is a combination of Christine Joy and Kaycel,an intelligent,studious and "Kalog" lady. I've been appreciating her presence in oour class because ofher brains,beauty,patience and sense of humor. Cirilo - I first saw you back when we were still in Grade-7.The moment that I saw you,you were doing a stupid-funny thing,you are doing a pole dance for God's sake😂.That moment,I already knew that you have a good sense of humor.Then we became classmates,eventually friends,last 2016.Things didn't go smoothly between us back then as we are constantly fighting,we even got to the point where we didn't even bother to talk/look to each other.It was a disaster.Then this school-year,we regained our frienship,and again,we fought,and the same scenarios back then happened again.But,here we are now,moving on to the next chapter of our lives,more importantly,as friends.Sorry for all the wrong things I have done to you.Thank you for making me a better and tougher person.I'll never forget all your funny and lame jokes.Goodluck in trying to win the heart of Baby Z,as well as Baby A's.

Zach - Zachy! I've met you a long time ago,two years maybe? It was the start of our journey as a 9th-grade student. Your identity and personality were still a mystery to me back then, and I'm sure you, too, felt the same way.

If I remember it correctly, since my memories from that time frame was not clear, you introduced yourself as "Gelli". I just knew your name back then, and I know that iI was still far from knowing your true personality that'll define your identity.

Days passed, I have still no clue about you and your personality. Those days were turned into weeks, and on those weeks, I was mesmerized by your innocent eyes and angelic face.

I guess I was too mesmerized before that I came to the point where I look to you and observe your movements every hour, everyday, every week. I didn't noticed that those weeks have turned into months, but then finally, after my observations, I have noticed a massive change on your behavior.

I expected you to be my friend, but something made me change my mind.

Your innocent eyes turned into a grumpy, "bitchy" (sorry for the word), snubbing machine. I don't know if you're aware of this, but that snubbing of yours really annoys the hell out of me. I was wrong about your innocent eyes, eyes that made me focus on you for a long span of time.

I thought I would never observe some crummy behavior from you again, but I was mistaken again my friend.

I thought you were calm and understanding in all kind of this, but the you wer the opposite of what I have expected. You cry on little things like a child, even thoug you are not directly involved with it (if you want to know why I came up with this, don't hesitate to ask/message me for I will present to you the most genuine answer that'll satisfy your questions). You are easily angered by something even though you have no acceptable reason/s for it. You are insensitive. You have the inability to respect (sometimes) my opinions or what I am saying.

You have that annoying childish behavior. It was my intentio to confront you about this a long time ago; but I thought you'll gonna take it the other way around. I really hope that this will serve as a wake-up call to you.

But despite all of these, you still have favorable characteristics that I personally like. You have a good sense of leadership. I have constantly abserved this everytime we're on a same group. You're also a good listener. Even though we rarely talk to each other (like, we really never had a decent converstion), you still listen to me even though I speak nonsense things. You also appreciate my jokes, even if they doesn't deserve an ounce of appreciation.

There's a lot of room for improvement. That's what I can say to you. We are getting older every second. You should help yourself to find that maturity in your body that'll be a benefit for yourself to understand how this cruel world really works. PEACE!

Things I am Looking Forward To.......

It has been 2 weeks since 2017 bid its first and last goodbye to I. Along with it are the bad memories that are badly needed to be forgotten,good memories that are worth keeping for, and the old version of myself which I intentionally left behind.

It has been 2 weeks since 2018 greeted I with beautiful lightings in the sky. And as much as everyone do,I hope 2018 will be somehow "Good" to me, as good as what it has shown me in its first greeting. Given that I am hoping for a good year this 2018,what are the things I am looking forward to to define what a good year is?

To keep things organized, I will be dividing the things I'm looking forward to into 2,my life as a student and my personal life.

STUDENT

- 2 months and 3 weeks before ou "Moving Up" ceremony (sobs😭😭😭), some mixed emotions and weird thoughts are already hunting I whenever I am thinking about it. So before that day comes and before my emotions and thoughts eat me up,I would like to spend more time with my friends in school. Spending more time with each other means that we could create some more memories that can be remembered throughout my life as I may not be able to hangout with them for a long time, or forever,maybe. Why? I don't know. My gut's just telling me that it'll turn out that way, but maybe because I will be separated from them next school year since I decided to continue my education in other institution. I will be............ Okay enough. I might get too emotional if I continue to write about this one.

I also want to end my Junior High School with flying colors and to be a consisten awardee in the present and succeding school year.

Less school requirements.

Love for Mathematics, especially I have chosen ABM strand in my upcoming year as a Senior High School student.

Personal

A new phone. Just please,2018, please work some magic to my parents minds to agree to buy a new phone for me. My phones over 3 years old and it's not even originally mine,it was my sisters'. I'm so tire of its laggy and unconsistent performance.

Buy BTS (Koream Boy Group) merchandise,preferably their official lightstick called Army Bomb,or a copy of their album. They are such a good singers and dancers. I adore them so much. Their talents are giving me goosebumps.

Be slapped by some motivation to make myself physically fit. This thins is what I have been waiting every year,but also,every year,not even an ounce of it came near to me. I'm waiting for the "Physically Fit Me" inside me to wake up in his deep sleep and take-over my present body. It's okay if I will not be able to meet the other things,but please,lst this thing happen this year.

Overall,the thing I am really looking forward to this year is the Time To Work for what i have listed. Those things I have listed above will,of course, disappear before I can even touch or feel them if I,myself, will not work hard for it.

Ate Atty.

Whenever someone asks who's the most influential person to me,she always pops up first in my mind. She has been a role model for me throughout my life,and will remain as one. I'm an avid fan of her intellectual ability,the reason why I've worked hard just to be on her level,or maybe higher.She's the reason why I have decide to take the path I am walking into right now. Let's just call her Ate Atty.

I remember the story of her life which made me look up to her even more.

According to her,living in the time she was just a lad was hard for her. At young age,she already learned how to work just to have a money,which will serve as her allowance in school. These works were mostly farm-related works. She even shared that due to poverty,they came to the point that they ate salt,fish sauce,peanut brittle(which cost .50 php that time) and bukayo(a filipino snack made of sweetened coconut) as their dish. Imagining this,they really have struggled to live that time.

But this didn't stop her to achieve her dreams. She continued to attend to school despite of having a shortage in money. Due to her hardwork and intellectual ability,she became the schools' most outstanding student in their batch. She spent most of their closing program going to stage collecting awards. She even entered in the CAVRAA playing her sport,chess. Despit this,she still managed to graduate in her primary school as valedictorian.

After graduating,she decided to study in CNHS,which also means that she needs to separated from her family,from us. In the name of her dreams,she accepted this wholeheartedly. According to her,living alone,away from your family is really hard,but surpassed this challenge as she became used to be separated from her family.Though she didn't managed to enter science curriculum that time,she managed to atleast go to the highest section of the regular section. She maintained her section until her last year in secondary school and graduated with flying colors.

She went to St. Paul University Philippines taking up BS Psychology as her course. She stated that she was really nervous in their first day because some of her classmates was one of the science section,so she was worried that she will be behind them. She then took this as a challenge to show off her skills that time. After four years,she graduated as Cumlaude.

After graduating,she immedietly looked for a job and luckily,she was accepted as an employee in DILG. Her dream was to become a lawyer,so while working,she is also studying in CSU,taking up Bachelor of Laws and Letters. Her income in her job that time was divided into five,so it is expected that a little amount will be left for her own. But these was paid-off after almost 5 years as she has became an official lawyer.

Her perseverance really inspired me to become like her. Normally,some people will leave their responsibility for their family after fully reaching their dreams,but my sister still take us,her siblings,as her responsibilty.She even decided to accomodate us in her house to give us a good environment for our education. She still helps our parents and also us financially.

A lot of people give an impact to us,but personally,my sister is the most influential person in my life,and it that will remain in my entire life.She will be always my Ate Attorney.

Supposed To Be Bombed

The 31st ASEAN Summi,also marking the 50th founding anniversary of the ASEAN,hosted by the Philippines,recently concluded last November 14,2017 with the theme "Partnering for Change,Engaging the World."

World leaders,which is composed of the ASEAN members and dialouge partners,attended the 31st ASEAN Summit last monday,November 13,2017,at the PICC Pasay city,Philippines,to discuss the present and future economic and cultural developments of Southeast Asian countries.

The Summit ended with only violent protest,but it could've been worse.

Philippine National Police arrested rumored Abu Sayyaf members named Abdul Faffari Jiki,19;Alim Sabtalim,19; and Sadan Jhofar,24. The three were caught in Quezon City on November 10,2017,few days ahead of the arrival of leaders and senior officiqls from ASEAN and its dialouge partners.

As per PNP Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa,the 3 did not admit the plans to launch an attack during the ASEAN Summit. With these being said,the police gathered informations to support the suspicion.

The authorities monitored Jikiri's Facebook page,where they found photos posted by him such as high-powered firearms and improvised explosive devices with a caption "non-believers and Muslim apostates." The posts of Jikiri was taken by the polices as "hint" of Jikiri's plans to launch terrorist attacks in Metro Manila.

Jikiri also posted photos of the places he planned to target,and according to PNP Chief Dela Rosa,Jikiri also included the venue of the ASEAN Summit,the PICC. The PNP decided to launch a background investigation and found that Jikiri was indeed an Abu Sayyaf member while the other two were believed to be "supporters" of the group.

The PNP,with the help of the NBI,found them together at Salaam Compound in Barangay Culiat,Quezon City.

It would've been a shock for the world of what disaster could've happened during the 31st ASEAS Summit,but the Philippine Authorities managed to secure the safety of the world leader.

Types of Tricycle Drivers (blog 5)

"City of Capacity"

That's how some Cagayanos dub the City of Tuguegarao. We've been called many names like "Hottest City in the Philipines" and "Batil Patung Capital of the Philippines",but this one really caught my attention and from my point of view,this really is quite true.

Tricycle is the main mode of transportation used by many people in Tuguegarao. It has been like that for several years now,but over the past years,tricycle drivers have become more abusive.From what I have experienced,here are the most common type of tricycle drivers in Tuguegarao City.

1. The Mababait

-these are the one who's very kind to their passengers,collecting the right amount of fare without any kind of complaint.

2. The Kaskasero

-these type of drivers are kinda scary. They are consistently increasing the velocity of their vehicle at a very high rate,forcing to overtake other vehicles,driving like they are the King of the Road. The scary part with this type is that sometimes,the passenger or the vehicle itself get into some accidents.

3. The Dealer

-they are the one who's deciding the amount of fare to be given. These are the annoying ones. Even though your destination is less than 750m from your location,they will demand that you should pay more considering your destination is too far(😂) for them.

4. The Mareklamo

-these are the ones who'll pick you up then they'll charge you more than the right fare the minute you get to your destination,their reason? "Ma'am,arrayu maytu" (Ma'am,it's too far),"Ma'am traffic pay maytu,kwan mu la kang 30php ngin" (Ma'am pay at least 30php because we've been stuck in traffic for long time). Like WTH is wrong with these people? You sat comfortably in their vehicle,thinking you'll pay the right fare,then last-minute,they'll charge more than what's right? Complaining just to get more from their passenger.

5. The Get-and-Run

-these are somehow related to the "Mareklamo's",but they are silent and will annoy you up to your bone marrow.They are also charging you more the last-minute in a silent and unnoticable way. You'll just be surprised with this type of driver.Take for example,you gave them 50php paper bill,you'll just be shocked to receive 30php or lower rather than 40php and before you can even complain,you'll just be in shock again as they are speeding their vehicle away from you.

6. The Capacity-or

-Bow to the Kings! These are the version 2.0 of the "Dealer",but worse. Thes drivers will ask you to pay all the seats intheir vehiclejust because your destination is far and you're alone. They are really overpricing when in fact the highest fare an individual can pay for a far destination is 16php-18php only. These are the most abusive of all abusive drivers.

These types of abusive drivers are now very prominent in our city and they need to pay for all of their wrong doing,but it seems that the local government are not doing anything. If the government will continue to tolerate these abusive drivers,the goodluck to all Tuguegaraoueños and Cagayanos.

The Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn Part 2-movie review (blog 4)

Directed by Bill Condon,Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the last movie of the Twilight Saga. This features the last chapter of the unendeing love between,the now vampire,Bella Swan/Cullen and Edward Cullen.

In this movie,we'll see how both Bella and Edward protect their daughter,Renesmee Cullen,from the Volturis.But why does the Volturis want to kill Renesmee? Before that,let me just state what I like and what I hate about this movie.

What I hate about this is that it has so many monolouges and dialouges for a short and most important movie of the series. Bella acted as the narrator in this story,and you'll hear her voice most of the time in the movie talking about how,where and why are they gatherinv witnesses for Renesmee to defend her against the Volturis.They should've modified some of these scenes into a fight scene,in my opinion,instead. Also,they shouldve made the last battle between the Cullens and Volturis longer. On the contrary,I like how the story of the movie went smoothly and how it made me wait for more scenes to come. Kudos for the director,as he made the viewers connect all the scenes of the movie to understand the storyline of it.

So back to the story,the Volturis were afraid of Renesmee because they thought she was made after Bella transformed into a vampire. They were threatened that the mere presence of Renesmee might reveal the existence of their race,the vampires,so they thought killing her is the best way to avoid such thing.Alice Cullen,a seer,saw the future how the Volturis are coming for them,specially Renesmee. Alice told why the Volturis are coming for them,making the Cullens agree to gather witnesses,for Renesmee,who have already seen a human-vampire hybrid.

The day came where the Cullens and the Volturis discuss about Renesmee. The Volturis was convinced that Renesmee was a human-vampire hybrid,but still insisted that the child still imposed a great threat to their race.Then Alice appeared out of nowhere to show Aro,Volturi's leader,what future she have seen if the battle between the Cullens and Volturis still continued. Aro was horrified to see himself die in the hands of Bella and Edward,so they decided tk back-off from the battle. Also,on the last part,Alice saw a great future for Renesmee and Jacob,a werewolf,as a lovers.

Overall,it'a great movie even with all the dialouges and monolouges. By the way,my favorite scene was when Bella yielded her power,mental shield,to protect the Cullens against Jane Volturi,who has the power of pain illusion,a power tha can kill you at one galnce.

The Alchemyst:The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel-book review (blog 3)

"The Alchemyst:The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" is a book written by Michael Scott. This,actually,is the first book of "THe Secret of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" series.

The story is focused on the twins,Sophie and Josh Newman,as they battle agaist the greatest necromancer,Dr. John Dee,who stole the "The Book of Abraham the Mage" protected by also the greatest alchemyst,Nicholas Flamel. It is said that the secret of eternal life lies in the pages of the book.

The twins were accidentaly involved in the battle between Dr. John Dee and Nicholas Flamel,with his wife,Perenelle Flamel,one day. Dee's intention is to get the Book of Abraham the Mage from the two. He prevailed in the battle,taking Perenelle as his hostage and the book,but Nicholas was enlightened as soon as he found out that Josh managed to tear 2 pages from the book,which turns out to be the Final Summoning,the most important part of the book. Without it,you woudn't know the secret of eternal life. Nicholas Flamel knew that the twins live's will be in great danger once Dee found out about the missing pages so he decided to take them away with him,far from where Dee last saw them.Nicholas Flamel knew something that involves the twins. They are the subject of a very important prophecy which says that the twins hold the power to both destroy the world and to save it. With the twins having an ungapped power,Nicholas and the twins sought help from the Goddess with Three Faces,Hekate,from tge Shadow Realm. Hekate managed to awaken Sophie's power,but as Hekate's about to wake Josh's power,Dee attacked in the Shadow Realm and managed to kill Hekate. Nicholas and the twins escaped and went straight to Dora,Witch of Endor,to instruct Sophie the "Magic of Air" now that her power is awakened. Again,Dee managed to follow them,but still,the knowledge of "Magic of Air" has already been transferred to Sophie. They managed to escape from Dee through a leygate connected to Paris before Dora destroyed the leygate.

Honestly,this is the very first novel I have read. Though it took a great amount of persuasion for me to read it,I must say it's worth it.The book worked it its magic on me,immersing me in a fantasy world where I just can believe,but don't exist. It made me want to collect all the books from the series to trulu know "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel."

Optical Image Stabilization-tech review (blog 2)

Cameras nowadays are easily owned by many people,specially most of smartphones now have a camera module. But even though a camera has a high resolution,say 16 mp, why are photos taken with it while making minimal movements turns out verr blurry and videos filmed with it becomes shaky? Well,your camera might not have OIS, or Optical Image Stabilization.

Big smartphone companies such as Samsung,Apple,LG,HTC and Google are rocking the camera battle with oter smartphones as OIS is added to the camera technology of their premuim flagship phones. This means their cameras will still be able to capture a non-blurry photo even with a low megapixel count and shaky movements. But what's the explanation why cameras with OIS takes better photos despite shaky movements?

Early on Image Stabilization was an unusual feature in traditional professional cameras and it became more common with the arrival of digital still camera (DSC) on the market. These devices have taken over the digital imaging system market and contributed to drive technological innovation in photography.

Then, in 2010, the mobile revolution started and the use of smartphones exploded. The technological evolution encouraged the major phone makers to propose innovative solutions in hardware design that allowed the integration of miniaturized photographic modules in mobile phones to take pictures with camera-like resolution. This revolution has led to the decline of compact DSCs, deposed by camera-equipped phones.

The introduction of Image Stabilization in several mobile platforms has been a significant added value for photography lovers and especially for younger users, who replaced their traditional and bulky cameras with brand-new smartphones—or had cameras available to record memories simply because those cameras were embedded in the mobile platform they were already carrying. Image Stabilization in smartphones enables pictures and video with quality comparable to digital still cameras in so many operating conditions. As a consequence, the request for Image Stabilization is increasing both in compact DSCs and in smartphones.

Picture blurring caused by hand jitter, a biological phenomenon occurring at a frequency below 20Hz, is even more evident in higher resolution cameras. In fact in smaller resolution cameras the blurring may not exceeds one pixel, which is negligible; but in higher resolution ones it may impact many pixels, thus degrading image quality significantly .

Optical Image Stabilization technology is an effective solution for minimizing the effects of involuntary camera shake or vibration. It senses the vibration on the hosting system and compensates for these camera movements to reduce hand-jitter effects. So, OIS captures sharp pictures at shutter speeds three, four, or five times slower than otherwise possible.

The increase of the shutter opening time permits more brilliant and clear pictures in indoor or low-light conditions. The time during which the shutter remains open, regulates the amount of light captured by the image sensor. Of course, the longer the exposure time, the greater the potential for hand shaking to cause blurring.

In the case of smartphones cameras, because of their small lens apertures and the material used to make unbreakable lenses, the amount of light that can enter and strike the image sensor is significantly less than that of a DSC. This requires a higher exposure time, with the obvious drawback of increasing the effect due to shaking hands.

The basic principle underlying OIS is simplified in Figure 5, where the movement effects are amplified and represented on a single axis, for the sake of clarity. Let’s suppose we take a picture of a non-moving object in which the shutter remains open for a time interval equal to ∆t; if no compensation occurs (Figure 5a), the involuntary rotation of the camera generates a distribution of the light cone, over a single pixel, splattered on a segment indicated in Figure 5a by A-B. Clearly, this phenomenon occurs across the whole image sensor, causing a blurred image. Otherwise, when optical stabilization occurs (Figure 5b), the lens moves opposite to the direction of the camera shake and the image results to be stabilized

Overall,this technology really redefined what a camera can do. Making the quality of the photos taken with a smartphone camera look like a photo from a professional cameras. If you are into photography but cannot afford proffesional camera,this technology on some smartphones may help you out.

A DECADE LATER (blog 1)

"Krinnnnnggg..... Krinnnng" The sound continued until I finally decided to get up from my bed. I still need to review our lectures and to do our case digests. I looked at my phone,and to my surprise,it's already 6:30 AM. WTH!! I'm gonna be late for my work again. My plan was to wake up in 3:00 AM to do the things I mentioned a while ago,but damn,I think I messed up again. I hurried to our bathroom to wash my face and to brush my teeth. After that,I went to our closet to get a blue polo-shirt,with a COA logo printed on it,and a denim pants to iron it. Then I came down to eat my breakfast in th fastest way possible, then brushed my teeth again. I took my bath,dried myself then changed immedietly. It's already 7:15 AM when I started driving my car to COA Regional Office. On my way to COA,I usually got stucked in traffic,so while all the vehicles are in a stop,I am also writing my case digests for my law classes later at 5:00 PM. So to make the story short,I got here,in the office at exactly 7:56 AM,and that relieved me. I looked into one of the mirror in the office's bathroom,and noticed my eyebags got bigger again. I hot thinner,too. Wanna know why? You'll find out later. I checked in and immedietly started working so I'll finish my work earlier,that'll enable me to continue writing my case digests. During breaks,my officemates will go to the canteen to eat,but not me. I am continuing to do my case digests. This is alson the very same scene during lunch break,so that's the reason why my weight's decreasing. I looked at the clock and it's already 4:30 PM. I immedietly checked out from the office and drove straight to CSU-Andrews. By the way,I am a 2nd year student, taking up Bachelor of Laws and Letters,so I'm a law student,at the same time,a CPA. So yeah, I'm making my way to becoming a CPA Lawyer. Believe me when I say this,working and studying at the same time is freaking hard amd stressing. But,yeah,fighting. I stepped inside ohr classroom,but 30 mins. after my first subject,Political Law, started,our professor did not come to our room yet. After 5 mins., one of the professors in College of Law came to tell us that all of our professors will not meet us today. After hearing the news,I've felt happier. Now,I'll have time to..........study and write case digests. I drove my car out of the school and immedietly,CNHS caught my attention. It has been 10 years since I finished my secondary education there,and I can say that it's program prepared me well, academically and emotionally, in entering my tertiary education. I remember how the requirements of my teachers stressed me out,how my tests forced me to cheat,how........ okay,I'll stop reminiscing now. So I went home to my sister's house and went straight to our room to study and write my case digests. I didn't notice that I stayed up for too long now without eating my dinner yet. But I need to study hard to become a lawyer,I need to mak-.......... "Krinnnnggggg.......Krinnnngggg" SH*T!!!!!! I messed up again.
