went to the art store, bought a bunch of random mismatched materials, came to 3 hours later with this thing. ft. colored pencils, acrylic paint, posca pens, and golden seed beads.

i usually like to link sources for the photos i use but I couldn't find these, I searched for so long - if anybody knows the original models & photographers i would greatly appreciate it. they've each been reposted on pinterest & more hundreds of times.

i did my best with this one but the ai's use of value leaves something to be desired

It took two whole days but it's done. The concept is simple: AI generated art, sent to a company who does paint by number kits, and then completed by an amateur. It's an interesting thought experiment - at what point is it truly art? Is it ever art, because it's AI generated? Is it ever art, because it's paint by numbers? Is it always art, because it elicits a response from the viewer?
