Leverage redemption finale was good I need it to get a season 4

“leftists” love to hear their own ideas regurgitated back to them over and over again. slight deviation and they panic, and don’t know what to think. it’s so intellectually lazy, i wonder how no one loses their minds in these spaces. i went to a conference this morning and the whole thing was around intersectionality with keynote speaker kimberle crenshaw. it was great and i love her and her intellectual contribution. but the few times she mentioned something which deviated from the same old conversation on the topic, the room was quiet and everyone ignored it. at any other point it was full of oohs and aahs and finger clapping, people asking questions. for instance, she was talking about how in the 80s when she was doing research on sexual violence towards black women and wanted to gather data on the issue, none of the organizations she reached out to wanted to help her produce the data and release it. organizations for racial equality didn’t want to have data on black men abusing black women because it would put the focus on black on black crime and undermine their credibility. feminist organizations didn’t want to have data on black women being more at risk to sexual violences because it didn’t align with the story that all women are equal victims of the patriarchy. such a hilarious anecdote which is still extremely relevant in understanding the state of the current social justice movement. other than some light chuckles from 2-3 black women, the majority of the room just awkwardly looked at one another. the question the host asked immediately after was something like “how do we fight back against anti wokeism” and then we were back to regular programming.
