After fae went public to the world in the 1980s, the world changed. Government agencies were formed to keep everything under control. Anti-fae groups sprung up in the controversy. Chaos hit fast and hard, but eventually a steady peace came about. That peace was broken again in the early 2000s, when werewolves were outed. Agencies expanded, hate groups grew, and new pro-non-human groups fought tooth and nail to show that the things that went bump in the night were just like you and me, not something to be feared. That, of course, didn’t account for the witches, wizards, walkers, druids, vampires, and NON-public fae still roaming around right under everyone else’s noses.
