in 12x11 Diana slaps Spencer.
and later after she has a nap and is in a clearer state of mind she sees his bruised face and asks him what he did to it, and he lies and says that he probably bumped into something.
Diana says that he was always so clumsy. and that she used to call him crash because he was always bumping into things.
Spencer probably wasn't a clumsy kid at all. His mom likely hit him during her episodes and he must have lied and told her that he bumped into things, fell down etc. This was his face after she says that. There's no way that this was the first time this happened.

hey so it’s march now aka the beginning of endometriosis awareness month and i feel obligated to remind you that debilitatingly painful periods are not normal. if you or someone you know is ending up sick or bedridden every month, you are not crazy and deserve medical attention from someone who will take you seriously

Something I love about the town I live in (Umeå, Sweden)
In the early 2000’s, a serial r*pist called ”Hagamannen” terrorized women in Umeå and commited henious crimes for several years. After he was captured, steps were taken to make the women of Umeå feel safer and appreciated - one was this sign.
The sign is placed near the central bus stop, so you see it every time you get into town. I think it is a nice message to know that you are seen, and that we can rise again even after these awful events that severly affected the entire town/municipality.
