I don't follow either of them but I do occasionally still check the Nazi hellhole formerly known as Twitter purely for, like, 3 accounts that refuse to switch over to to Bluesky. I happened to dip in at lunch to day and saw a couple of the old Glee mutuals post the pics.

It felt like 2010 again.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that on tumblr fandom used to be practiced very differently. now everyone fucks off to their discords or tumblr groups to discuss everything with a select few, making tags be nearly only used for posting some finished fanworks or not at all

a decade ago people didn't have tumblr groups. people didn't even have dms. if you wanted to talk to anyone about anything you had to make a post, or send an ask (which more often than not would get published and thereby become a post in the end too)

so next time you think "I have a fandom thought but I have to find a small group of hyperspecifically like-minded people to share it with in private" remember all the freaks you could be missing out on meeting by keeping the tags dead. use tags, make friends. fuck discord.

Hey Poetz! A couple of DB questions. Who between the two would you say is more protective of the other? And how does that manifest? Also I read a previous ask of yours about which one initiated sex more often, but who would you say out of the two has the higher sex drive? Are there ever any moments of one walking in the other *satisfying an urge*, as you might say? Hope you’re doing well!

I’m doing as well as can be expected in the current political hellscape. Thanks for asking. 

Disregarding Quinn’s pregnancy, during which Rachel is very much the more (over)protective partner, it’s typically Quinn. She does have a really effective Murder Glare ™ so that’s a thing that happens whenever someone makes the mistake of insulting (or making an unsolicited pass at) her girlfriend/fiancée/wife in her earshot. She also has a poison pen and anonymous social media accounts to eviscerate the online trolls.

With Rachel’s ever-increasing fame, Quinn definitely takes defending her wife and children very seriously. 

As for their sex drives, again disregarding their respective pregnancies which makes each of them fairly insatiable, I feel like I’ve written them as being pretty evenly matched on that front. Although, I do think Rachel’s sex drive is probably a little higher in the early days when she's newly discovered the joy of lesbian sex, and specifically sex with Quinn. And she is the one with the vibrator, so…

I’m positive they have both walked in on the other satisfying an urge over the course of their long relationship. And Quinn very definitely makes good on those threats to take care of herself during her pregnancy when Rachel is just too tired to keep up with her hormones. Rachel does not object to watching.

It's been a minute, but I finally finished the winning prompt from that long ago DB poll. It's not my best work but it is some words on a page despite the general lack of inspiration that comes from life in America today.

I imagine Quinn trying the strap while she was pregnant was sort on par with having like a wierd food craving you never have while not pregnant but while being pregnant it turns out to be what hits the spot. Does Quinn think of it like this or does she feels kinda of wierd about it? Do you think you would ever write it out? Do you think they tried other positions other than cowgirl? I kinda love that Rachel gets so excited to be in such a diffrent position from what she ussually does in the bed.

A craving is a good comparison. Her pregnancy inspires all kinds of cravings. She definitely approaches the strap on one like that too - she craves her wife in every way she can have her.

With Quinn's pregnancy, I think they'll probably try doggy style at least once, but Rachel is extremely careful to constantly check in with Quinn so they are doing it safely and comfortably for her.

I don't know that I'll ever write it out. Smut has always been a challenge for me anyway, and I've been extremely uninspired lately, though I did add some words to a thing this past week.
