Advanced exploration of the smaller moons required a new ship. The small electric propelled Gauss with a crew of five was sent to the Sarnus system and started to explore Hale. It's three men scientific laboratorium was equipped with everything needed for studying these small worlds.

A farewell to Hale!
(after leaving Hale our two brave specemen were not able to lokate their mothership that was parked in an orbit around Hale. There was absolutely no sign of it and the sad certainty became obvious: the Explorer and its 7 headed crew was lost to an unknown fate)
