Let’s skip the flowery intros and get to the point, because this is important.

Lotor’s vindication and reunion with Allura were originally part of VLD s8 and I can prove it. Most animation relating to this plot was excised, while other clips were re-purposed to make it look like he was dead all along: but some are still in there.

The removal of this plot line was one of the major factors in completely messing up season 8, and it was a change that was made very recently; no earlier than August in fact. There is a significant, non-zero chance that an unedited version of Season 8 exists in its entirety; completely finished.

So about those “leaks”…

As some of you guys have seen from my “Syeun signing my Sheith ita bag” post.. I had the amazing opportunity to meet him at Walker Stalker Con.

He was super friendly and chill and loved getting the chance to nerd out about the show. But in that moment with him, I also had the chance to talk to him about the “leaks” that had been around for only about a week at that point in time. I posted about it on Discord only a couple of minutes after talking with him, so I’ll be letting the screenshots of that day do the rest of the talking under the cut.

national merit scholar, national ap scholar

president of debate, captain of science olympiad, captain of DECA, varsity dance team

placing 2nd in the state for debate, placing 6th in the nation for science olympiad, placing 4th in the state and top 30 at internationals for DECA

member of a choral group that performed at carnegie hall and disney, three time gold medalist for state piano competitions

commuting 6 hours on the weekend to intern at a non-profit in chicago

speaking in front of the chicago city council to demand increased resources for underprivileged students at chicago public schools

tutoring ESL students at chicago public schools

canvassing for local and state elections

working as a translator at illinois polls so that people who could not speak english understood what and who they were voting for

doing biological research at uchicago, a top 3 nationally ranked university

volunteering as a chinese teacher for a class of 16 kids

so to answer your question i do think teenagers getting involved in activism is valuable. that’s why i did it as a teenager. i just don’t believe that harassing people online for a fictional cartoon ship constitutes activism, nor is it the best use of your time. now go study for your damn SATs.

I follow these Chinese cosplayers, who are a gay couple (they’re called Baozi and Hana), and recently one of them shared an instagram post showing that they were banned from some Chinese streaming site for “publicizing homosexuality.” He said that they weren’t even doing anything, no pda’s, they were just eating and talking. Basically the website shut down their account for a week because they exist as gay men.

But sure antis, shit on Voltron Legendary Defender and praise mdzs, completely ignoring the fact that China is still incredibly homophobic. Apparently mdzs isn’t even airing on regular channels, it’s on the Chinese equivalent of Netflix. I'm saying you have internalized homophobia for forcing the Heterosexual Life Partners trope on two ADULTS rather than let people see two gay MEN in a relationship. Again. Keith was 18 from season 1, DW officiated it, and hes been an adult the whole time. And lmao, people are shipping bubbline when it was confirmed that Princess Bubblegum knew Marceline as a teenager, was like a sister, and when Marceline grew up mentally in her Stakes arc they got back together. So yes, if I saw a dynamic like Sheith but as girls, it's most likely theyd be shipped lol. Keith's not a teen. Nobody was shipping Keith as a teen bc he wasn't one to begin with.

They were still equals, Keith was Shiro's right hand man, SECOND in Command. Does that mean ships with Keith other than Shiro has a power imbalance bc he held power over them too? What about now? Keith is Voltrons leader does that mean he can't be shipped unless they are leaders? And believe me. Adam dying was hurtful to a lot of people. It hurt me knowing that a mlm guy died. But you are MAKING him into a predator by implying Sheith is about Shiro lusting over pre-kerb Keith when it's not. Again, he wouldnt go for pre-kerb Keith bc he had a boyfriend that's what this post is literally about. I'm angry at people whod claim sheith is predatory when it was obvious his ex was in the picture at that time and would even look Keith that way at all. The popular theory Sheiths have is that Shiro started to crush on Keith during the Across the Universe episode NOT as a teenager.

Again though, that was never stated lol. He was never seen teaching kids in the show and was never CALLED a teacher. A mentor yes, teacher no. You can mentor someone without being called a teacher lmao

And heres the thing, you cant really be the judge of whether or not you have internalized homophobia now can you? If someone calls you something you're not proud of you rethink and learn not try to deny it. And predatory age gap?? Really???? They're 5 years apart. That's not predatory among adults. Many couples have have the same age gap. Say a 15 yr old and a 20 yr old yeah that would be a problem but Keith is 21 and Shiro is 26... that's no where near predatory.

I thought antis loved Adam but apparently not since they love to make Shiro into a grooming pedophile during their relationship since Shiro was obviously busy lusting over Keith the forever minor 🙄
