As for HC, I have a lot of weird/stupid ones, but really, I don't write them down, it's more based on how they perceive/interact the world around them, so I'm really bad at answering this directly. But Sonic making music and Shadow being cuddly under the right circumstances is top 5. Please don't bully me.

I keep thinking about Shadow trying to be flirty and failing, partly because he's so direct and introverted, but partly because Sonic's not romantic at all, according to Sega. So you gotta flirt without being too flirty or he'll get bored or uncomfortable...

At Sunset:

Rouge: you got that fancy bike, huh? Why not use it as an excuse to be close? Just don't lay it on too thick, he might run away... Offer him a ride or something.

*Shadow nods and puts on his helmet, all while Rouge watches from a building.*

Shadow: *rolls up to sonic, Tokyo drift style.*

Rouge, from afar: ...too much. He'll think you're challenging him.

Shadow: heard you liked the Dark Rider. (Name of his bike. Really.)

Honestly I legit just think he’s shorter when they first met/are younger THEN after that second puberty he started getting taller and overall bigger over time

I need you guys to remember that Shadow is shorter than Sonic because it's my favorite fact.

The shoes give him an extra inch or so.

There is no way Sonic wouldn't make some kind of sarcastic remarks about it.

Anyway, I like when Sonic makes this kind of face or squishes his face/body up in weird poses. I like to think Shadow likes a lot of little things about Sonic, but he doesn't say anything and can be hard to read.

Sometimes he can't explain how he feels, he just feels it... Wow. That sounds so emotional-- this soft moment is ruined by Sonic's bullshit.

They like to push each other's buttons lol. Sonic probably wonders when Shadow's planning to tell him to shut up or kick him. Shadow is determined to ignore him.
