along with the periodic reminder that the russian psyops weren't real and just tumblr trying to cover their ass after that very embarrassing failure for dems back in 2016, I've decided to crack open the time capsule:
the proof of those blogs spreading disinformation? the memes they made critiquing dems/Hillary were the old snopes "mostly true" (e.g. saying Hillary did x y & z as secretary of state is true but CONTEXT and at least she isn't trump etc. etc.)
"russian psyops were tricking black youth" (throwing black people under the bus & portraying their supposed targets as naive & ignorant & not to be listened to)... as if black and brown Americans of all ages weren't already disillusioned with us politics and/or leading those discussions themselves & not foreign agents or w/e, but also dems incriminating themselves as being unable and unwilling to win over young poc
tumblr revealing those random urls (most obviously black bloggers posting about activism & current events as everybody was at the time) without any transparency of their process or evidence of disinformation or being state-sponsored, the two criteria they cited in that post
Hillary won the popular vote. any foreign intervention to impact voting wouldn't have impacted the electoral college nearly as much as using politicians economic interests overseas. idiots.

Tináa Earrings
Ron Berry (Tlingit)
Oxidized Copper, Hypoallergenic Niobium Hooks, Waxed String. 1.5" x 1”
The tináa is was traditionally made out of copper, that historically was considered a precious metal. They represented one’s wealth, status, and prestige. I am amazed just thinking how they used to mine and process the copper, then shape it into tináas the shield shape. Full size tináas were much bigger than my pendants and earrings. These ones are a representation of the ones made long ago.
