“Yes, me!” Piper’s lips pull into a goofy smile as she gestures toward herself. “Not just a water element. But the water element!” An awkward pause. 

“Well...I’m the Head of Aqua and Water Elementals that is, heh.”

Griffin nonchalantly stares at the lake where, somewhere–presumably the bottom–is his phone. “Is anyone around here a water element? Or… in possession of a snorkel and some rice?”

“.......really? A shuffleboard court?”

“You do realize this area of the school is off limits to students, right?”

‘No? Pity, that. I’ve got great stories! That is an idea, yes. Or I could finish this bottle on my own and buy a second to share with you once I’ve aced the midterm?”

“I’ll consider your offer....but, only if you get a perfect score.”

“Hi, Professor! Do you think I could stop by your office hours at some point? I’m having a little bit of trouble with bubble charms, and between you and me, it’s kind of messing with my head a little bit…”

“Of course, Miss Blair! My office hours are wide open today, but just for my own information, what specifically is giving you trouble?”

“I, uh, well I hope you have someone there to help consume those drinks, because I have p-pressing business to attend to tonight.”

‘Relax, Prof. The only body I’ve injured under the influence of merlot is my own and I’ve got the scars to prove it. Cheeky placement though, if you’re curious. Champers on the other hand… 

But I suppose that’s why it’s best saved for celebrating, right?’

“Cheeky placement? Curious? N-no.  I...uh, let’s...make sure to set most of the merlot aside for after you ace my midterm, then!

“Not strictly an either-or situation though, is it? I for one find a nice bottle of merlot to be an excellent study buddy. Though I suppose not all of my cohorts have my multi-tasking skills, do they?”

“If merlot helps you study for Charms, to that I say: Sláinte!  As I told Sam, whatever works for you, works for you! 

Uh, so long as said study thing doesn’t result in grievous bodily harm to others of course, heh...”

You know what? I like the way you think, Evans, since a Jedi is very disciplined when it comes to the fine art of wielding a lightsaber.

And I bet they’re also very diligent when it comes to studying for their midterms, too. Just a hunch.
