not to sound like a medieval peasant or a catholic but i resent anti-carb propaganda so much like bread will never be evil it is holy it is divine it is one of life’s most simple yet decadent pleasures. love is stored in the bread

i miss when someone would post an image and then another person would reblog from them with seemingly the same image but there was a lucky luciano hidden in there somewhere. and you spent 5 minutes looking for it. do you remember how we used to play

I learned what sun poisoning is recently and now I keep getting scared when I see suspiciously pink white people out and about during the day. Like dude get back inside you're in danger

"One flesh one end" in universe is a statement encouraging cavaliers to be devoted enough to their necromancers to give up their own personhood when necessary but I think in a broader sense Muir is saying that even in relationships with an imbalance of power like this, the potential for both parties to be changed is still there. It's never a one-sided exchange because in consuming something else, that thing becomes a part of us.
And it works with the environmental themes of the books as well. One flesh one end as an acknowledgement that by taking resources from other people, their end becomes our end. By taking resources from earth, its end becomes our end. It's a statement about the interconnectedness of all life

it's gonna be okay
