While she should have likely stayed away for some time, to allow Caelus a chance to unwind properly after all that had happened with the Xianshou, Kafka couldn't deny she had missed him immensely.

Gently turning the Trailblazer's head toward her kiss after affectionate kiss showered every inch of his face, fingers lovingly stroking his cheek as she soon simply let her forehead rest against his own.

"I'm so proud of you , Caelus ~ Always working so very hard ... How should I reward you , I wonder ... ~ ♥ "

He let himself be showered in affection, used to it by now to really be embarrassed about it (when they were alone, with company, that was another story). He played it cool, but was loving it, Kafka just didn't need to know it...

She probably did, but he wasn't going to tell her directly.

Then, at her question, he huffed, crossing his arms, but not putting any distance between the two of them, the forehead touch was comforting and soothing, especially after everything that had happened to them earlier.

"By telling me the truth from the start, maybe? That'd help a lot." He knew she didn't really have any other choice, what's with that Elio guy and all, but, well...

He tried.

Another reward would be to hang out for food together and maybe some more shows of affection and- Oh! Playing games together, yep, good idea.

...He wasn't going to say that outloud either, he needed to keep his cool façade up. Yup.

"Oh, really? Lucky! I'd be devastated if we couldn't hang around here, it looks so beautiful!" Perfect spots for pictures and selfies and- Ah, yes! Friends! Her friends!

"Yes, we did, but, I don't know how, we got separated? And then I got lost and entered the first friendly-looking place! I'm glad it was this one!" She was probably the one to blame, too busy, well, taking pictures and not listening to the others. As usual.

He'd never quite met anyone like the girl who was now inside Komore Teahouse, but all it meant to Thoma was a sense of relief that Inazuma was truly beginning to open up to the rest of the world. Of course, some places were far more familiar to him than others...

“It's a good thing you arrived when you did. Inazuma's been closed off for a while... it was pretty hard for foreigners to get in. But you said you were with some friends? Did you all land here together, or...?”

"That's because you didn't have me as a friend to hang out with!" Plus, she wouldn't go bother him while he works, so they'd have to do friendship stuff after (or even before) he does!

"I never played star chess though, we could start there! Would you teach me?"

"Your time on the Luofu was not exactly normal. Most of my time these days is doing paperwork, playing star chess and sleeping." Though there was no denying he knew a lot of things, considering he'd been around for a lot of those things occurring.

"Well, I'll make myself comfortable then, thank you!" So tired from that journey, indeed, they just arrived on this new world and she got separated from her friends and lost!

...At least, there was food, food always helped.

“Come on in, have a seat. You must be tired from the journey here... let me fix something up for you.”

"Don't you dare changing the subject again!" Caelus pointed a finger at Dan Heng, knowing fully the other already won that round anyway, he couldn't fight the guy at that kinda thing.

"But that was probably her, since mister Welt forbade her to curse, she does it at night when no one can hear, now!" And that was totally true, yup, Caelus didn't curse... aloud. Nope. Never.

"don't try to change the subject!" or more like the target of the imminent scolding. caelus frowns. "what do you mean /trying/, i beat it easy!" after many, maaany, tries… but wait! that's not the issue here, dammit dan heng!

   there's a light smile on his face, extremely faint that one could barely make it out, at his successful attempt at changing the subject ( it's simply what he does best ).

   "is that so? then surely you must've been to sleeping soundly, and the curses i heard muttered loudly from the parlor in the early hours of the morning was from march instead?"

   "oh, dan heng told me a tad about you," luocha said, kneeling down to pom-pom's level, still managing to tower over the other. "the conductor of the astral express, yes?"

"That would be me, yes." Pom-Pom curiously stared at the other, a bit on guard, but still open to welcome any friends of his crew aboard the Express.

It was the conductor's role to make everyone feels safe and welcome there after all! Even if Welt were squintings his eyes at said guests whenever they crossed paths... How curious.

"If Dang Heng talked to you about me, I take it you are his friend? That's pretty rare for him to invite anyone, you must be special! And special guests deserve special treats!"
