Sometimes I’m Martha in the kitchen. I’m frustrated & bitter. I’m angry. I’m comparing. I’m focused on details, wondering why Jesus & others are not. But I need to always be Mary. I must always be sitting at Jesus’s feet. Listening. Listening. Listening. The details are not my job. Preparation is not the point. Jesus is always in my home. So I must always be sitting with Him, ready to hear every word.
