i'm genuinely very sad that the tumblr rpc is dying. ive been on the website since 2012 and i've seen it change a lot over the years, but now its like? a ghost town....

i like fishman island but mostly for the flashback

#i think the flashback adds a lot of depth #mostly to jinbe and arlong #plus world building by introducing fisher tiger #and i think what is being said about generational trauma #is actually pretty compelling #but i can see why a lot of people dont like it

shiki is evil and the worst and sucks but i do kind of feel bad for him. i think after his injury, it really affected his ability to think clearly- like hes still responsible for the decisions he makes and the things he does, but also. dude has a foreign body lodged in his skull that cannot be removed. it changes you a little bit. so he experiences difficulty with memory, bouts of confusion.

#hes not harmless def not #hes a major threat #but hes not... what he used to be
