Ponybalderdashery (It is the same name that this one had)

The nonpony blog will be the focus of my exploits from now on. I’m keeping the ponybalderdashery concept around though because it seems a shame to lose the canon of my past adventures. The new blog will not be referring back to those days because I want to start new.

And once again, and I can never say it enough, thank you everyone who has been with me here for the past several years. Some of us have become old and dear friends. There’s been a lot of highs and lows here and I don’t regret the learning experiences they’ve taken me through. I hope to see you on the other side.

It took FOUR rounds of drain cleaner FOUR

Including hot boiling water and a plunger (had to go buy a better one) and fixing the mechanism in a certain way

And two of those rounds was the most powerful stuff draino sells

It worked pretty great actually, but it still took two rounds!

That said, I must have a very generic email name because people are always trying to use it accidentally.

And it’s been my email for thirteen

years and yet...

I’ve had a real person desperately trying to connect me with cars for sale

I’ve had someone create an instagram, and repeatedly send password reset requests, which she never recieved because it was me who got them all

Just yesterday someone made an uber account, requested an uber, and then cancelled it.

Those are just the ones that weren’t just created and abandoned, but obviously had real people trying deliberately to interact with the wrong person

The rough thing about people creating accounts with my email is that I can’t delete them because they have the password to get in. If I ever want an uber account I’ll have to use a different email.

It only took a few days to get my first resume from a random person. The kind where even though you’re an employee yourself, somehow people think you have job opportunities for them just because you are on certain sites.

It was sent to an email I thought I removed from all my accounts. I should only have my career-based email up
