hello everyone! been a while since i gave one of these, and as some of you have probably noticed, i haven't really been around a lot this year so far. i could give you a thousand excuses, but truthfully, the reason for it is the fact i've kinda moved on from tumblr and roleplaying in general - i don't even have an active rp blog for almost a year now ( funnily enough i just checked, and the final post on my last active blog was on my birthday - like i turned 25 and a switch flipped that made me not want to be here as much anymore ) and my focus has switched to other things.

i rediscovered my love for reading and writing. right now, i'm actually working on my own fantasy/romantasy novel as well as a fourth wing oc fanfiction ( which you can find on ao3 if anyone's interested - sorry not sorry for the self promo ). i also spend quite some time in the kitchen because i love cooking, and now being at home instead of at college, i can finally do it again. i spend a lot of time with friends and family, redecorate my home, and overall try to be less online. i'm also currently in the practicum phase of my dual studies program, and it's making me realize i really like what i picked because i actually like going to work ( despite them not giving us much to do because ... well, we're not fully trained yet ). i've also had a few health-related things i've been dealing with, but that's mostly all good now.

but this is not me saying goodbye.

what is happening, though, is that i'm gonna be posting infrequently. i'll do it when inspiration strikes or when i have something i need / want to say, but overall, i'm not gonna be around as much as i used to in the past. messages may take a few days until i get to answer them ( mainly because i'm not here every day anymore ), and actually creating things that aren't memes are gonna take longer because i'll only work on these occasionally.

anyway, because i want to end it on a nice note, i want to thank you all so much for all the support you've continuously been giving me. seriously. this blog is what it is because of you, and because you like, reblog, and use my stuff for your own blogs. it's still wild to me that people actually appreciate it, so thank you. really, from the bottom of my heart. it means a lot to me.

i'm really curious to know how you create these sentence starter posts!!

hi there! honestly, it really depends on the kind of sentence starters i make. for example, if it's movie or tv show quotes, i look at the transcripts and write some quotes down that i think could work well in a roleplay scenario - in whatever capacity that might be. a while back, i decided to cap the sentence starters posts at 40 ( there are a few outliers to this rule, but typically i make sure to include exactly 40 prompts ), so i check whatever i have written down and choose the best ones. mostly at random, sometimes because i think i would enjoy it if someone sent these to me if i were still roleplaying here, and sometimes i pick the ones who are most different from each other so it's not only romance quotes, or only funny quotes, or whatever. if the meme is made from an existing medium ( songs, tv shows, books, movies, etc. ) i also just ... look up people's favorite quotes just to see what other people like about that.

as for the ones that are more theme-based ( e.g. fluffy starters, angst starters, holiday starters, etc. ) it's a mix between things i've heard or read somewhere, sentences i came up with, and everything in between. but it works similarly to how it does above - i write down whatever comes to my mind, re-read it and pick what i like best.

hello everyone !

hope you're all doing well. not gonna lie, i missed y'all and this little blog of mine. it's been a while since i've really been here because i haven't spent a whole lot of time on tumblr in general ( primarily because i don't have any active rp blogs in general at the moment after the last fandom i've been in died again, so i just haven't been active here ).

i've also realized it will be my third anniversary here on thursday which is kinda crazy. i probably won't be able to do anything for that on time but i am hoping to get some anniversary thing done a little later - because i actually only have until friday before i have 2 weeks off. i'm also hoping to be around and do more things here again soon-ish; just finished my first batch of exams for this semester so the next ones will be at the end of january, which means i do have a little bit of free time now. no promise how much i'll actually get done those because ( and i hate how weird this is gonna sound ) i finally found some friends again and we've been hanging out a lot after class so i just have other things on my mind than tumblr.

anyway, just wanted to make a quick post because i've really neglected this blog and still you have all been so supportive of me and my silly little creations here ( which i can never thank you enough, it really means so so much to me ).

hello everyone! in honor of it being my birthday today and me just getting home for my summer break, i decided to make a little update post because it's been a while ( both since i've actually been here and since i made an update here ).

to be honest, i haven't been around because i've been quite sick this past month ( nothing serious, but it dragged on for way too long ), and I'm still not fully fit yet. but things are finally getting better. on top of that, i also had to deal with my four final exams for this semester which was fun. at least that's all done now and i've finished my first semester of my dual studies program.

and i have all of july off, so i'm hoping to get some things done here.

what do i want to do? not sure yet, guess we'll see what i'll feel inspired for. although first, i'm just gonna enjoy these first few days where i can just chill and relax and enjoy being home again. i also wanted to say sorry to those who have written me asks or messages - i will get to them but it might take a few more days because right now i just need a break from everything.

anyway, just wanted to give a small little update, and i'll see you all again soon. hope you have a great day and don't forget to drink enough water 🧡
