Can you believe that such a beautiful and forested area was once the site for an anti aircraft Nike missile during the Cold War. The complete Cougar mountain area has since transformed into a absolutely beautiful regional park. But be cautious though if you stray outside of the official trails. Could get dangerous. Usually Seattle skyline is filled with dark clouds and is raining most of the time. Depending on the way you look at it, could be considered romatic and serene or quite the opposite.
