bellatrix/sybill, canon compliant

yall ever think about the doomed narrative of bellatrix and sybill? me too……..

bellatrix struggling with right and wrong after andromeda leaves and she’s in her seventh year and she knows that sybill is a seer. some people think she’s faking it but bellatrix is desperate. she asks sybill if she knows what choices bellatrix will make. sybill sees bellatrix taking the dark mark but lies to her about it and is determined to change the future. they form a secret friendship behind close doors, laughing and reading and talking and falling in love. they send letters to each other over the holidays. they relate to each other because no one likes or understands them. bellatrix is endlessly fascinated by sybill. sybill is endlessly fascinated by bellatrix. sybill thinks she has changed the future. bellatrix found out she lied. they fight. this is the last domino brick to fall that leads to bellatrix taking the dark mark because shes nothing if not stubborn and vengeful. contrary.

it was always going to happen. bellatrix was always going to ask sybill about her future. sybill was always going to lie about it. it was always going to end like this. this was always going to be their downfall. it was always going to happen like this!!!!!!!
