Hello! I said yesterday I was going to post these rules, but I have been having such a blast just decorating my town, (the one you see in the picture is the one I’m filling up!), and I thought it would be nice to post my legacy rules! The All In One challenge is almost like the LEPacy challenge where you play each expansion pack from the Base Game to Into The Future (or random). I don’t really think there are any official rules for this particular challenge since its pretty self explanatory but if there are rules, then I’m dumb and can’t find them. Credit to whoever game up with the challenge though! The challenge is under the cut!

EUREKA VALLEY POPULATED SAVE GAME

As promised in the previous post, we provide today the populated .savegame files to fully enjoy Eureka Valley … and have a quick talk about the Residential Lots :) Oh ! and 2 small announcements at the end of this post ;)

What’s inside the .savegame files ?

- A populated Eureka Valley - A house we forgot to add in the Eureka Valley Word … ( sometimes I wonder why we test a world during 15 days if we forget things and stuff !!! ) :D

- A simple Festival Lot which fits in size a terrain we left unbuilded in front of the Hospital …

- We modified the Fire Station situation to fit much better with roads alongside. The kind of modification that will be in the update of Eureka Valley in few weeks/months …

- Few details here and there but nothing important :D

Then let’s talk about Residential lots … As you see, they are not bad at all ( only because we just rebuild them and not created from the ground because truly, there are so talented house builders around ! gosh … )

This time, the Residential lots are more furnished than in Oaksoak Hollow … Maybe not as furnished as you like but indeed we don’t want to over furnish since you surely prefer playing with your own tastes ;)

The point is … to fully enjoy these lots ( both residential and community ) DO NOT FORGET TO GET the k-hippie build cc for all the cool textures inside :D

I do not have so many pictures of the cc itself but it’s mostly ( around 90% ) my own sims 4 build stuff I converted for the Sims 3 ( so pictures available in our sims4 walls threads ). Note to myself : do more build conversion ……………… ;)

Interesting Fact : As I always build with the same CC ( when I use CC which is not so often really ! ) the provided cc will bring you the textures used in Oaksoak Hollow too ! ( and every future world )

A quick word now related to projects :

- There will be an Oaksoak Hollow update quite soon …

- A new Sims 3 world is in the pipes : Shetland Harbour ( everything is in the title ) with a much more foggy feeling ( well … Shetlands ! )

What is Eureka Valley about ?

As said in our 2 previous posts, Eureka Valley is a very pleasant world, more science/tech turned and a real mix of old farms and futuristic houses, ready to play into a full revamped and transformed Appaloosa Plains base … We modified terrain textures, roads and trees, downtown, lots place and situation and tried to get as close as possible of our theme.

What’s the difference between Eureka Valley and your previous worlds ?

Lost Cove was a no-roads world to build upon and to play in any way you wished. And quite post-apocalyptic oriented.

Oaksoak Hollow was a very green and quite supernatural oriented world.

Eureka Valley is different. 70 lots already made for you, and still some empty lots to fill with whatever you want ;) Very very pleasant to play, fully ready to play as it is and much Science/Tech oriented. After all, Eureka Valley is the new center of Sims spatial discovery ;)

Ok … But I loved playing with pets …

Good ! Even we modified A LOT Appaloosa Plains, there are still some horses and other pets around ;) And as said above, we left some empty lots to build anything with. Have Fun !

Good ! We modified so MUCH the world … And not boring indeed ! After all, Eureka Valley is Science and Tech oriented ;) And Mad sometimes … Have fun !

What do I need to play Eureka Valley ?

Well … All expansions. Even it was not the case with our 2 previous worlds, you must understand we needed Into the Future to get things and stuff related to modern builds and so on. But you do not have to play Oasis Landing if you are not interested.

My game is made upon every expansion AND EA Worlds. Then I have few Store items ( not many ) and then some custom content.

Aaaaah ! Custom Content in Eureka Valley ! Eeerk …

Yes. There is a bit of custom content. Very few indeed. But there is an easy part :D Whatever is my custom content to play with, I ALWAYS BUILD with the same custom content and the listing is quite short.

In addition, I will provide my own CC I build everything with. This way, it will be easier for you if you are interested in.

And of course, we provide all the rabbit holes you need.

Is Eureka Valley populated ?

No. But we may provide a SaveGame file with population of cool Sims ;) this file should be uploaded this weekend …

New World for TS3: Welcome to Älskar

Hi simmers!

First, I want to say that this is quite an important journey for me, because after years I have dared to use the CAW tool, and im happy with the results. Please, keep in mind that it is still under development.

Aurora Skies is one of my favorite TS3 store worlds and has a lot of potential, so I decided to make a world based on a fictional island, named Älskar (which means "to love" in Swedish). The idea came to me when I returned back from the arctic, specifically Tromsø, where I went to see the Northern Lights and was lucky enough to appreciate them in the starry sky of the Arctic Circle.

There is no resort, as i didn’t wan’t to take up one of the lots that people might have already built on, and none of the rabbitholes fit. In the future I may upload one for separate download.

Equestrian World: Acaraho

This is another world created by Sugar's Legacy Stables for which there is a download in this download folder but few pics and little info on the internets about it, so I'm making a proper post. (These are pics of V3 in that download folder.)

This is a large, mostly-empty American-West-style equestrian world with lots placed, but it is not completely decorated. The parts that are decorated are lovely, however, and that area is enough to play in, I think. Of course, if you want to do more decorating and lot-placing and such with World Editor, that's certainly a thing you can do.

In addition to the standard equestrian world features of blocks of contiguous 64x64 lots for building multi-lot horse facilities, a riding trail, and scattered lots meant for picture-taking, this world has an already-built resort, an empty diving lot, and four ports built and ready for houseboats but no actual houseboats. (Though I do not think it would be advisable to move houseboats in the world, as there isn't really anywhere for them to go.) I've had this world for a little while in my own game, and I've been poking at making it a functional world off and on, changing the existing resort into a base camp so that the world can be used as a vacation world for horse people, using the Traveler mod.

That said, there is an old thread (from 2013) on the official Sims forum that has pictures of a more-built version of this world, and there is a Mediafire link to that version in that thread, but the link is unfortunately dead. This is the most complete version of the world that I've been able to find. If anyone happens to have that more-built version, I'd love to have it. Hah! I found it! Silly me assumed that V3 of the world would be the most complete. It isn't. V2 is the most complete version. It isn't much more decorated than V3, but it has more lots placed and lots of pre-built lots that are pretty nice, including houseboats. I'm not going to take more pics, though. You can look at the pics on the linked forum thread above.

Anyway, here is a link to a re-upload of the V3 file and here is a re-upload of the V2 file. just in case the above-linked folder disappears, and there are a lot more pictures and as much info as I know about the world behind the cut.

Those pics aside, I'd say about half to two-thirds of the world is unfinished in terms of decoration, so it looks more like this:

So, it's a good world if you like to mess around in World Editor, as I do. You can decorate to your heart's content, and you can place more lots anywhere you'd like. But if you don't enjoy that sort of thing, there's enough of the world that is decorated that you should be fine, too.

Now some info:

According to the creator's website, this version of this world requires all EPs. I think it's a medium-sized world and at least in its current not-fully-decorated state, I think it will run smoothly on most machines.

The world comes with a handful of CC, which I did not install. I'm pretty sure it's all used in the pre-built resort because there were items missing when I took pics of it. So, if you're not going to keep that lot as-is, there's no reason to install the CC.

In the official forum thread I linked to above, the creator mentions that they used Monte Vista lighting in the more-built version of this world. I don't know if that's the case for this version. All the pics on this post were taken with my lighting mod (one of Burntwaffles's) installed, plus Reshade, so YMMV.

Spawners are a little...odd. There are no seed spawners and no ITF ones. There are some underwater shell/bottle spawners placed in the otherwise-empty diving lot. But, only one insect spawned in the entire world, and all of the minor pets spawned on one lot in the world. I don't know why this would be, but the spawners appear to have been placed with CAW because if you open the lot in question in Edit World, the spawners don't appear. So, if you want to use this world for normal playing and you normally have your sims collect stuff, you should probably plop some spawners from debug mode on other lots to even things out. The rock/metal ones are already distributed well, but everything else is not. And then there's also...uh...this:

I imagine it's an underwater fish spawner, possibly meant for the diving lot, but it's placed on the same lot where all the minor pets spawned. So, a little weirdness going on there.

I should probably mention that I read somewhere when looking for info about these worlds that SLS deliberately did not use routing paint on any of them, so that sims can route anywhere in them. This can create weirdness, like the pizza delivery dude on the side of a butte here:

It also means that, say, sims on horseback can go pretty much anywhere. This is nice for picture-taking purposes, but perhaps not so nice in terms of routing issues when using the world for normal-style playing. So, just a heads-up.

Now, some lot-layout pics:

This is the main area of the world, which is fully decorated. It has a contiguous block of 6 64x64 lots separated by foot paths and then six more 64x64 lots in two sets of 3, with a road running down the middle. There are other lots for non-farms, too, and then some that are obviously meant for picture-taking scattered around. It has a long riding trail with some empty lots placed on it to use to take pics and/or make a cross-country "course." On the left of the pic is the pre-built resort, which has horse facilities and which looks like this:

Next, this is the area with the four ports, a lot that can work as a beach, and the empty diving lot. This area has some decoration, but I wouldn't call it fully-decorated:

As I said, if you build houseboats on the ports, they really don't have anywhere to go, but at least you get the aesthetic. :)

Finally, this is the "Main Street" area, where you're meant to place rabbitholes and such:

So, there are lot of different places you can download EA’s store content. The purpose of how I do it was to give you the option to pick and choose the items you want. Everything is individualized, but since I’ve finished the majority of the work, there’s been a lot of asks for an easy way to download everything in one go. I’ve slowly been uploading bulk versions of each set, but that’s not exactly what you’re all asking for right?

This is the best compromise I found. My store content folder looks like this:

(FORGOTTEN is what I call the limited sets that you can’t find on the store anymore. ie: Dr Pepper sets)

I have merged every piece of store content I’ve uploaded in these 6 huge files (the biggest is 2GB) with the separated folder for content that also needs to standalone to work properly. 

THIS works for me. BUT

It doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. I’ve decided to share these, but I cannot guarantee this format will work for you and I will not be uploading a different set up. I will not be helping you troubleshoot problems associated to this - you download and use at your own risk.

Student Council (Afterschool Activities+)

7 March Update: PLEASE REDOWNLOAD Hi! Please re-download the "olomaya_StudentCouncil_MAIN" file if you downloaded it already. There was an issue with the milestone tracker so it will reset your Sim whenever you try to canvas for donations. If you have the other files, no need to redownload them, just the "MAIN" one.

I just played TS4 High School Years. The items are really cute but there's about 6 hours of gameplay in the whole pack, lol. But it got me thinking about how I wish we had more child and teen-specific stuff to do in TS3. Like Afterschool Activities which could have been more…active. So I started making a few active afterschool activities for teens. This is the first I'm releasing.

With this mod, your teen can join the Student Council where they can then take on different activities. They can run for office in the council and support school issues to try and make their school a better place. There are 8 different student issues your Sims can try to address, like buying new textbooks or running an anti-bullying campaign. Each one will require your Sim to get a certain number of signatures and raise X amount of funds. If you don’t do so by the deadline all the students will hate you (not really but also, yes). If you are successful, then all the students will get some kind of reward related to the campaign and it will increase your popularity. You can learn about student issues and the like through the Bulletin Board object.

There are 3 different Student Council elected positions you can run for which also have extra perks and each have their own unique interactions they can do as well so they are a bit more personality-based to the role.  There's more details in the documentation.

Future Updates/Additions: I do want to create some activities for council members to organize, like a beach clean up or school charity events. So that would be the plan for a V2. Also maybe doing a proper animation for the collect signatures interaction. I know TS4 has one, I couldn't get it to load through a social xml. It's a whole thing but yes, I'm aware Sign Autograph is not the ideal animation.

Woodland Park Apartments

I needed some more housing for my sims in sunset valley since there was such a population boom so I whipped up these apartments and I liked them so much I wanted to share!

There are two versions, furnished and unfurnished! The apartments all have the same floor plans that allow for 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom but you can change it all you want!
