The 7th lesson was all about “Focusing on the Psychological Health”. Which was really informative and helpful to learn. It talks about the “6 Facets of Psychological well-being”, self-acceptance, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, personal growth. It is very important to take notes and be mindful about this topic as it talks about our mental health. Staying sane most specially nowadays, in the midst of COVID19 is very vital for us to know how to handle and keep our minds sane and healthy.

The lesson about “Developing Efficient Learning” is really interesting as it tackles about the brain and it’s part and how these parts works together and supports each other and make our whole body work. The most interesting part I love is learning about the right and left hemisphere of our brain. It is really interesting that the part of the body they control is opposite. The anatomy of the human body and it’s parts never fails to amaze us on how they work and function together to accomplish what we are doing right know, such as me, writing this essay about my reflection on this lesson! We are God’s greatest art, indeed.

The 5th lesson talks about the “Stress as a Part of Adolescence”. It is very relatable and truthful. I, as a teen going through the late adolescence phase constantly suffers from stress mostly because of school and the tons of works we’re required to do and there’s family problems that’s not uncommon. It is very easy to lose your edge specially as a teen going through changes, physically, emotionally and mentally. That’s why it is very handful for us, young adults to know how to deal and manage stress ideally, that what makes this lesson very informative and helpful.

The discussion about “Dealing with the Challenges of Adolsecence Stage” was really helpful mainly because it enable us to learn and understand what we are actually going through at the moment. It talks about the physical concerns and eating disorder that mostly the adolescence, us, has experienced or currently suffering from it. It is really handful to know and really adapt the right perception and to understand these things as teens, suffering from these kinds of dilemma during adolescence stage.

Entering the phase of middle and last adolescence is a really interesting topic for me. Learning and digging deeper about this topic made me look back to those times when I, myself is still at the middle adolescenes stage. All I can say is I’m glad we get to learn about this topic because for some reason, I felt a little better about myself during those times now that I know that It was all normal and it made so much sense! Lesson 3 is so inspiring and relatable. Peer social comparison taught us that “Gratitude is the key, be inspired and compete with ourselves.” and I couldn’t agree more!

The discussion erlier was all about “Being mindful with oneself.” I learned about the connection and relationship between the mind and body. The topic digs deeper about the anatomy of how emotions and feelings are associated with ones behavior. One thing I found really interesting is the difference between emotions and feelings. I thought that the two are the same thing but not after Ms. Psyche taught us that emotions are actually the biochemical reactions within the body whereas feelings on the other hand, are more associated with mental reactions on a particular situation. We also tackled and learn more about Dualism by Descartes, a French philospher which is really fun and interesting topic to learn.

Our discussion erlier was all about getting to know ourselves better. It is really important to pay attention in this topic because as a person it is very vital for us to know ourselves better, to know our strength and weaknesses. Our capabilities and limitations as a person. Knowing oneself enables us to find out the things we are good at and to keep developing and excelling at these things and most importantly, to know the things that we are not good wheares improvements and practice are needed.
