Hi !

I have a question.

What is bingo card. I have a vague idea that you should fill the request but I'm not sure !

At the very basic level, you have 25 prompts spread out in a bingo card format and you create a fanwork inspired by that prompt. Most of the time these are run by events, but I mean, no one will stop you from making a bingo card for the fun of it.

Having said that, bingos tend to work a little different for different events, but I haven't done a ton of them for comparison purposes. In general you get a randomly generated card with different prompts and you try to fill them by creating a fanwork. (Most events allow many different fanworks, including fic, art, podfic, and more. It will depend on event.)

Most of the time you're allowed to put some limits on the prompts you get, for instance if you don't write NSFW you can ask for just SFW prompts and some events let you choose 'types' of prompts you want. (For instance, some prompts are 'write using this style', some are AUs, some are pairings, some are characters, some are tropes, some are just random. etc.)

When it comes to fulfilling the prompt (creative interpretation allowed) a specific event will have different requirements (a whump bingo will ask that stories have a whump element, a Tony Stark bingo will have its own qualifications (this one did not actually require Tony in the bingo, you could use any character who shared screen time with him), etc.) to count the fan work as a fill.

Further requirements can include whether you can use multiple prompts for one story, or if you need a minimum word count, etc. If you ever join a bingo event, they will be pretty clear on what counts for a fill or not.

Another part of this please?

I don't know if you realized when you prompted, but there are actually a fair few sequels to this already. Prompts one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven. Couldn't quite figure out where to go, since I'd considered this storyline closed, but hopefully this rounds it out nicely. As it is, I'm going to consider this storyline closed for future prompts.

“You used me?” Clint’s voice came from the hallway, sounding a mix of offended and delighted.

Stephen exchanged looks with Tony, but Tony just shrugged to say he had no idea what Clint was talking about.

Natasha’s laugh was the only answer.

Clint stormed into the room, eyes narrowed at Stephen and Tony where they cuddled. “I want full credit in your wedding vows,” he declared nonsensically. No one in the room was getting married!?

“Full credit for what?” Tony asked, skipping over the lack of upcoming weddings to merit the demand.

Clint pointed at Natasha who’d followed Clint into the room. “She used me to clue Stephen in to the fact he was in love with you,” Clint said. “Which means I am the reason you two got together, hence credit in the wedding vows.”

Tony looked entirely confused. “What?”

“That first day,” Stephen reminded him. “I’d overheard Clint and Natasha and that led to…” He gestured between them.

Tony’s arched an eyebrow, then shrugged. “Shouldn’t the credit go to Natasha, then?”

Natasha smirked. “Absolutely.”

“Not that there’s a wedding planned,” Stephen pointed out.

Tony looked at him thoughtfully. “We could change that,” he said, tone entirely too casual for what Stephen realized a second later was a proposal.

Stephen felt almost dizzy with want. “Is that your idea of a proposal?” he asked, because there was no way he was letting Tony know that the almost off-hand words had him floating.

Tony considered it, then nodded. “Yeah, think so.”

“Terrible proposal,” Stephen informed him. “Courthouse this weekend?”

Tony’s grin was blinding. “Perfect. Natasha and Clint can be our witnesses.”

Clint pumped his fist in success. “Done. I still get credit though.”

Stephen eyed Natasha, who had a smug smirk on her face. …had they just been played, again?

Tony knows wvat's happening but he let Stephen to curte him. He wants how much Stephen value him.

Didn't quite fill this exactly. Everything else had been from Stephen's PoV and there was already an ending written, so this is coming after they got together. But there is still some of Stephen courting Tony. Prompts one, two, three, four, five, and six.

Stephen curled into Tony, the exhaustion of the day slipping away as Tony pressed a kiss to his collarbone. “Long day?” Tony asked, looking up at Stephen.

“Yes,” Stephen agreed. “Better, now you’re here.”

Tony smiled up at him, soft and warm. It was impossible to miss how Tony watched him, sometimes, a surprised awe in his eyes. Stephen vacillated between a feeling of warmth in his chest that Tony considered Stephen’s love so worth it and a lingering worry that Tony still seemed so uncertain Stephen could really love him.

Stephen wasn’t entirely certain how to ease that worry, though.

He did love Tony, but how did he show that without coming off saccharine or insincere? Loving Tony was natural—how else could he have loved Tony and never realized?—he didn’t know how to prove it.

“Are you busy tomorrow night?” Stephen asked.

Tony hummed. “No plans.”

Stephen stole a kiss. “Let me spoil you,” he said. “Me, you… a little bit of magic.”

“Oooh,” Tony teased. “You and magic? How can I resist?”

Stephen snorted. “You never resist me,” he pointed out.

“Cocky.” Tony laughed. “I love it.”

“I love you,” Stephen promised. Someday, Tony’d believe it.
