He’s put together, we converse well, have the same kind of humor, agree on a lot of things, like Sonic (and also have realistic feelings on the series), like the same kind of games...

But he has kids and lives in Chicago.

I don’t know if I want to get my bachelor’s anymore. I’m so tired of school. I’d much rather be working full time. If my AS can get me a job, I’ll happily take it and go...

I met my admirer the other day. Long story short: a discord buddy said they wanted to pursue something with me, I said it could be possible but it was far too early to say.

After meeting them in person... we are better as friends. I just can’t see it becoming more.

I haven’t felt anything for anyone in so long. What even is chemistry these days? =/

3. I’ve been randomly selected for covid testing by my school and can’t return until I’m cleared. I also work for my school so working this week has been mostly a bust. =/ I still do zoom sessions that I get paid for, but a good chunk of my hours are from going in.

How to Fight Perfectionism

1. Delete “ought”, “must” and “should” from your vocabulary.

2. Get rid of all unrealistic goals, and replace them with realistic, achievable goals.

I dropped that class I was JUST talking about.

Shame, because its’ interesting, but this woman is a mess of a teacher. She gives us very hard to comprehend material (especially for a low level, general course) and says, “I know it’s hard to read. Even I have issues with it. It’s best to just skim the readings to answer the questions!”

LADY WHAT????

The fuck kind of anti-teaching nonsense is that??? Why encourage students to skip over reading for the sake of answering questions and not fully comprehending??? Why not give easier readings??? Its a level 100 class!!! Some people in this class aren’t even native English speakers! Consider them!

And in case you’re wondering how some of this stuff sounds, here’s a sentence: "The word one does not somehow represent the numeral, somehow embody its essence the way a three-sided plane figure represents the essence of triangularity."

...yeah, fuck this shit.
