So they added a third date to the event, which I'm glad they did, but they did so, so poorly.

The biggest issue that I see here is having the same lineup for three days instead of Separating them into different dates for a three-four day weekend (starting Friday and ending either on a Sunday or Monday) by having the bigger bands play middle stage, and the smaller ones playing outer stages.

Another issue I see with this is pricing. Yes, most of these are bands well known, but some of these are bands not known, or ones that just don't seem right in this lineup.

$40-60 is sufficient enough for all these bands at a general level, $100-$150 for VIP, and $100-$130 for

Skybox.

I'm sorry but the company whose doing When We Were Young (that did Astro world) knows what they are doing with having all tickets nonrefundable and expensive as all hell. Cause honestly to me, they are trying to get money for the lawsuit they are in, plus they probably know that most of the bands won't be able to make it.

okay i don’t claim to be an expert on music festivals but ive heard a lotta people who r WAY more knowledgeable on this stuff say things so

be careful about when we were young fest!

it’s set up by the same people who did astroworld, which is a MAJOR red flag

idk if this is standard for festivals but the tickets are non-refundable, which is kinda sketchy imo (especially during a pandemic)

the site says wristbands are good for “the whole weekend” despite the fact that the festival is only supposed to be one day? which is a weird error

“tickets starting at $19.99 down” but the cheapest tickets are $224.99

the whole thing is 12 hours with 3 stages, which would leave ~32 minutes per set

So it seems like Pierce the Veil is finally making their fifth album after a long hiatus, and I can't be more than happy to hear it!!! But the biggest issue I have that hasn't been addressed anywhere is this...

WHO IS GOING TO BE THE DRUMMER OF PTV?!?!?

I feel like if they bring Mike back after the whole situation a couple years back, it's just gonna cause issues with their fans ( I mean, look what happened during the 2020 acoustics of Hold on Till May and the comment sections there. So it has to be someone they've known/work with that's been in another band or such, or, of course it's Vic's brother and we all know how that's going to end.

Either way, I can't wait for the new album.
