~ no you are not ... Today I watched Arashi ni Shiyagare with Ayase Haruka (Episode from 05.31.2014) and I think I'm in love with her xD the episode was really entertaining. It's was first time I watched a variety show with Ayase Haruka as guest. On my "most favorite Japanese actress" list she ranks first. So I thought I should give it a try. So if you have a chance to watch the episode → DO IT. You won't reget it especially if you are an Arashi or Ayase Haruka fan.

Toradora! english dub announced (+trailer)

Toradora is a great anime and I always hoped for an English dub release. Yesterday I stumbled upon this news : NIS America Streams Toradora! English-Dubbed Trailer. How awesome is that?

According to Animenewsnetwork.com the Blu-ray and DVD release is slated for July 1. NIS America will release a Premium Edition and a Standard Edition. The Premium Edition includes all 24 episodes with English dub and the Standard Edition is separated (2 volumes).

My thoughts about Arashi

As some of you know I'm a big fan of Arashi and I almost only watched variety shows from Arashi such as “Arashi ni Shiyagare“ and „VS Arashi“. But since there aren't many subbed videos and only a couple of communities fans sometimes need to wait for weeks. I don't blame the fans who translate videos, articles and lyrics. I know how difficult the translation process can be. I just don't get it why Johnny’s Entertainment (Johnny & Associates) and the Japanese Broadcast stations don't publish the shows on YouTube (with subs) for example. Korean Broadcast stations create own YouTube channels (https://www.youtube.com/user/kbsworld/videos) with English subs and you are able to watch Korean dramas online (Dramafever, Viki).

I observe the international Arashi fan communities for years now and I have acknowledge withdrawal of many fans over the years. One of close friends (former Arashi fan) told me that she feels no connection anymore. I think the main reason is that many fans don't feel supported by JE and as a result many escape to Korean idols and shows.

I started to watch the korean variety show "Heroes" and it is really great. I especially like Yoo In Na. I love the way she laughs.

Ohno was always a great actor and Sho improved a lot. He was amazing in Kazoku Game. But you can't compare Sho and Ohno with Nino. Nino is a natural talent.

18. Masaki Aiba : He is not a great actor so I guess rank 18 is okay! 16. Kazuya Kamenashi : In my opinion the rank should be around 13-15. He didn't improve his acting but it is solid. 15. Tomohisa Yamashita : Omg. He should not be in the list. He was not bad in Nobuta Wo Produce but after you watch a couple of his dramas you will observe it's always the same. 13. Sho Sakurai : I was never a fan of his acting but Kazoku Game changed that. The performance was incredible. He should at least be in the top 10, maybe top 5. 12. Ryo Nishikido : A couple of years ago I thought he was a normal actor not an idol. His acting is solid and satisfying. He should rank higher. 10. Jun Matsumoto : Sorry but rank 10 is a joke. Many Arashi fans don't like him because of his personality and/or missing talents. He is definitely not the best singer or dancer but he IS a great actor. Without the shadow of a doubt. 9. Tomoya Nagase : One of my most favorite actors. I think rank 9 is okay because he is a character actor. Not everyone likes it. 7. Satoshi Ohno : Rank 7 is okay. 5. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi : The best actor of SMAP. Yes in my opionion he is better than Takuya Kimura. 3. Toma Ikuta : He is popular but is he also a great actor? Yes absolutely. 1. Kazunari Ninomiya : The best actor no doubt. I'm so happy he is on rank 1.
