#137 Porygon

Porygon was actually kind of hard to do because blocky shapes aren’t something I’m used to crocheting! Amigurumi are generally very soft and round, not rigid and edgy

Between work, sickness and brand new back problems, I’m taking a bit of a break.

“RLY?  Sad!  Then plan B!  Like, knock something over if mall security starts chasing you!”

          “Ah! That’s a start. Money is so hard to acquire now a days anyway!”

“Yeeeeeeah!  OH OH!  Do you have a car?  Running is okay but LBR, a car would be best for the getaway!”

          “Hmm Now that’s more like it! Everyone needs to cause a little chaos now and then.” It’s part of nature after all. 

“LET’S GO SHOPLIFT CUTE THINGS!”

“EVERY crime!  Not just the sexy ones!”

“This Sunday, do every crime.”

To the touch, Polly’s hair would feel synthetic.  A fine visual trick, but a not so great tactile one.  They’d picked out this hairstyle themselves and they’d never really considered it might be an issue.

“I can see great!”  Polly beamed.  “I have been kicked out of places too!”  Technically.  Not in this specific body?  Should they be announcing that?  Should anyone really be announcing they got booted from retailer establishments? 

“LOL, it is okay!  I do not need the shirt off your back!  But if you tell me where you got it, I can go get my own maybe?  IDK, TBH I have never actually purchased clothing before.”

"I know you do not know me but I love your shirt."

Lei blinked and found herself face to face with a short person, whom seemed to be complimenting her. What a kind kid! 

“Aw, thank you! But can you see through all that hair?” Her close and touchy nature led Lei to brush her hand against the fringe, wondering if it was too long. 

She took a step back, “I’m Lei, a backpacker! Proud visitor of many regions and proud reputation of being kicked out of a pokemart in every single one!” A kind girl she was, honest! But her eyes wild with anticipation of constant adventure and self restraint near nonexistent, her life choices ranged from bad to chaotic at times. 

“I’m flattered you like my shirt- hey do you want it? Wait- sorry nevermind, I’m out of other shirts right now oh darn.”

"You have eggs..?"

“I have Chansey eggs!”  Polly is quick to show off the carton contents.  “Would you like one?”

Oh my.  A herbivore.  Polly closed the egg carton.  Gosh, Lusamine was so good and pure.  Except, pouch eggs were definitely smaller than regular pokemon eggs, right?  Did these even hatch?  Shouldn’t it be okay?  Polly reached out to pat Aubergine as she went by...every time she went by.  Poor hard working Chansey, having her gifts rejected.

“You look like you could RLY use one though.  ...Sorry, ReaLY.”  People liked long form!  “I Do not Know any (legal) substitutes for the effects of eggs though.  Laugh Out Loud, I mean these specific ones!”

"Does…does your Chansey want them?”

Lusamine glanced at Aubergine, who was now smiling benignly as she waddled circles around Polly’s feet. “No… I believe she’s just pleased to find that she’s not the only one to realize how desperately in need of eggs I am. She’s been doing this very same thing to me for weeks now, after all… If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say she’s asking you to team up with her.”

Her voice held the beleaguered tone of an overworked mother, but she did smile slightly when Aubergine seemed to confirm her thoughts with an exuberant trill. The creature had been endlessly helpful and sweet, all things considered.

“You’ll have to forgive me, Polly dear. Truth be told… I don’t eat eggs, as I am a strict vegan.”

“These are quality eggs!  Why will no one take one?!”

“I sometimes hear of people plotting to find Xerneas and strike a deal for eternal life.  However, rather than getting one Legend to pay you special mind, perhaps it would be easier to beg Yveltal to ignore you.  Without Death on your doorstep, you simply continue on existing.”
