What were her wishes?

To have Zack and Stelea back? It was impossible to bring dead back but if somehow it became a possibility, Emil wouldn't subject neither Zack, nor Stelea to whatever would be the price and she wouldn't believe such magics wouldn't come with some monkey paw.

To die? Well, there was a reason she hadn't jumped off a cliff onto sheer rocks and smashed her skull into pieces yet and dying to a wish wasn't going to change it.

Otherwise, she wished for some chocolate mousse, but she could easily make it herself, no magical wish granting required.

Emil chuckled. "Now, the real question is 'whose' wish I would grant." There were some who were an obvious choice, but...

Oh, well, Monkey's Paw, malicious compliance, careful what you wish for and all that could lead to some mischievous fun.

"Let's do it!" Emil laughed back but didn't move from her spot, continuing with her lemon mousse. Yes, Dani had 'called to action' but considering she hasn't jumped to her feet, it was safe to assume she meant till after they eat, which Emil was full on board with.

Tapping the spoon against her lips, Emil hummed in thought. "I might get one for myself too I guess. I have many plushies but none of them is quite that big." But who needs a big plushie when one has Bor? In his hybrid form, he was human sized, warmer and softer than any plushie out there!

"Would you be going for an octopus? I've stumbled upon many various kinds but I think the octopus was the most common." She cocked her head, blind eyes on Dani. "Most of them were usually of the cute kind but I think if we are going big enough to stick your head in it, I think one with long and twisting tentacles would suit you more. More realistic looking than a very round 'cute'."

"Hah, sure thing that every Devil Fruit user out on the sea should have a babysitter at hand." Emil chuckled but her expression slowly turned into one of stunned silence as it hit her she was Bor's designated babysitter and the two of them had been incredibly lucky that Bor hadn't been knocked down into the sea yet.

Emil probably would be able to pull the drowning oversized crow out to the surface - provided his fruits doesn't make him much heavier - but Bor had already capsized ships the size of Caramel simply by sitting on their side in his full crow form. Dragging him onto Caramel without Caramel deciding to start making cartwheels would certainly be an ordeal.

She had to figure out a contingency plan for such scenario. One for when it happens in a calm, open sea and at least five versions of when it happens either under attack and slash or on stormy sea.

"If you're looking for a neat place for void screaming, a middle of a forest is always nice but I admit it is in a very short supply out on the sea." She hummed, eating another spoonful. Funny how most people probably would be worried that either of them was in need of a 'void to scream' but just as Emil wasn't going to question Dani, she was content Dani didn't question her. "A plushie would be an easy option and certainly rather unassuming to someone not in the know." She leaned a hit towards Dani. "Especially if you get one of those reversible ones in big enough size, you might be able to stick your head inside it."

"I guess it would be as if strawberries suddenly became poisonous to me after eating a Devil Fruit." Emil shook a spoon in the air as if threatening the skies. "How dare they make such common flavouring of sweets poisonous to me!? Forget the fact I'm already allergic to it and I can't eat it anyway!"

She shrugged and ate a spoonful, settling on the couch with her feet on the cushions. "I would be reluctant to eat a Devil Fruit too, but not because there's so much sea and it's dangerous." She gestured quotation marks on each mocked word. "But because I freaking love swimming. The fruit would need to give me some awesome powers to offset the fact one of my favourite pastimes is inaccessible to me."

Emil shrugged. "Also underwater is the best place to hide when I wanna be left alone to scream into the void."

"You know, a lot of people will say that they hesitated to eat their Devil Fruit because of the difficulties being unable to swim would pose for a life out at sea, but that was never a point of consideration for me."

(And no, she isn't talking about how being a performer for pirate crews wasn't actually what she'd planned for herself. Sure, it was true that she hadn't intended to live on the ocean, but what she's really talking about is- well-)

"To tell you the truth, Emil? I never knew how to swim in the first place. Eating a Devil Fruit took away my chance to learn how to swim, I guess, but I probably was never going to anyway. I mean, I was already fifteen when I ate it."

In other words-

(Actually, she is majorly oversimplifying the decision, as well as its effects on her life. But the whole "I can never swim again!" thing that so many Devil Fruit users lamented? That really hadn't been anything she was worried about.)

Emil's a VA :p

Emil has always had a relatively low voice for a woman, to the point it could pass as a man's voice.

She was always also great at mimicking accents.

She's a good singer and had a spy training.

Can someone tell me how in the world it had never occurred to me she should have some voice actress skill in there as well?

Anyway, if anyone asks, if Emil was to get a Japanese voice actor, it would be Romi Park
