Assignment 5 Typoday poster(Typography and story telling)
Objective: To design a visually captivating poster for Typo Day on the theme Typography and Storytelling. The aim is to explore how typography can transcend its functional role to become a medium for narrative expression. Students will create a poster that merges type with visual storytelling, emphasizing creativity, legibility, and emotional resonance
Main Theme- Spirituality
The Beej Chakra Mantra is a profound symbol of spirituality, connecting the essence of sound and energy with human consciousness. Each Beej (seed) mantra is a key to unlocking deeper awareness, resonating with the chakras that align our body, mind, and soul.
For my poster, I delved into the ancient wisdom of these sacred sounds, aiming to visually encapsulate their transformative power. The design reflects the harmonious interplay of energy and balance, mirroring how the mantras awaken and align the chakras. Every element—color, typography, and form—was chosen thoughtfully:
Colors represent the vibrational frequencies of each chakra, transitioning seamlessly to symbolize spiritual ascent.
Typography embodies the essence of each Beej mantra, flowing like sacred vibrations through the poster.
Layout reflects the cyclical nature of energy, with a central focus that draws viewers into introspection.
This poster isn't just a visual story; it's an invocation of mindfulness, urging the audience to explore their own spiritual journey. My intent was to fuse design with meaning, creating an artwork that resonates with the soul as deeply as the Beej Chakra Mantras resonate within us.
