Is it a choice?

When I had the best (bestest actually) times of my life (the kind of not-thinking-of-every fucking-negativity-around-me) I have this belief that "happiness is a choice" lol (cant believe that I really believe that shit tho)

I just realized that I've said that before bcos im fucking happy and all positive and I thought just because sadness is not striking me because I chose to be happy.

But then

I had realized my belief is wrong because if you're sad, you're sad and that's not a fucking choice because WE R ALL WANT TO BE HAPPY BUT SOME OF US R NOT. IS IT A CHOICE?
