A means to an end.

Hi everyone,

                   I’ve been thinking about this zine a lot lately and how there’s just so much content and so little time for me and anyone willing to help to actually put it into a zine format. Due to this, and personal reasons you’ve heard me discuss before, I’ve decided to turn this zine into a big bang. In other words, I encourage creators to publicly post their work on October 27th, 2017. This decision was extremely hard for me to make and I know that many people are going to be upset by this- and rightly so because you worked so hard on these pieces. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to make it work. I hope you continue to create for the fandom, especially for zines. Better organized zines, unlike often have multiple mods and are really successful. I’m sorry that I did not plan this out better and did not do more research before I created this zine.

             Please know that I’m not doing this to give myself more time to work on my own writing - In fact, I’ve dropped from some zines and events already because I just don’t have time to work and meet deadlines. In other words, I’m doing this because I feel as though I have no other alternative. Once again, I can’t apologize enough for not being able to create the zine you were promised. I know I could pass this zine onto someone else, but I don’t want to do that. I want to face the consequences of my poor planning and organization.

           I have a feeling that this is going to get a lot of mixed reactions and rightly so. However, I would rather interact with people once the initial shock is over. Due to this, I won’t be responding to anything through the zine accounts or on my personal accounts as a means of giving myself and everyone a chance to process this change. If you really need to talk to me I may respond to the occasional discord message or tumblr dm through my Matt RP blog (ask me for this if you are interested.

This is a preview of one of the fics I wrote for @potential-zine ! It’s a snippet of a piece called Light of my Life, a Klance Domestic AU, with accompanying art by the simply phenomenal @aetherlogic I can honestly say that, for the first zine I ever applied for, I’m super stoked with how everything turned out.  For the full piece, make sure to nab a copy of Potential when it’s released! Saturday rolls around, and Lance’s body is tingling with excitement. Saturdays are special. He whips the covers off of Keith with a triumphant yell, and then dives on top of him.
