Adam just finished talking when Liv pulled him aside. He listened carefully and his eyes widened at her words. “Thanks for telling me Liv, I owe you one. If that kid was eaten and was on my watch then I wold be fired. Thanks again Olivia. I owe you one” he said to Olivia, a small smile on his lips. “Okay, people listen up. I will say this once more. PLEASE do not wander off on your own without asking permission or without me. If you do not want to have your arm eaten off, then I advice you to follow this rule” he said to his tourists group. “I would also like you guys to meet Olivia Potter, she is also a herbivore herder and is going to tell you some more facts about them” Adam gestured to Olivia.
Liv smiled to him somewhat thankful that he didn’t get mad about what she just told him. “You’re welcome, it’s really nothing.” Actually they were just making each others jobs easier. Liv giggled about the fact that he had to tell the people once again about not wondering off. Liv always thought about the fact that tourists don’t even listen to that. The brunette looked ad Adam before she started talking. “Hey, like Adam said I’m olivia. I’m actually a tourist guide, well, herbivores, have really long necks since they have adapted to be able to eat from leaves on really high branches.”

“Honestly, you’re just making their experience a lot more fun by not letting them get ripped into pieces by any of the dinosaurs. Because that doesn’t sound like fun at all. Do the parents do anything to stop their children from touching anything?”
Exactly! But they don’t seem to get it. Uh, sure some of them do. Some of them don’t really mind and let the little guys do whatever they feel like doing.

“Hi, I’m Adam and I work as a herbivore herder. It’s not a dangerous job. Herbivores are animals that exist mainly on a diet of plants or algae, so there’s a low chance they would eat my arm”
Liv was walking by a group of tourists, she had just finished her turn, and was heading to lunch, right when she saw a little boy trying to get near one of the cages he shouldn’t. The brunette took him and got him back to his group, who was actually adam´s group. She waited for him to stop talking and them pulled him to the side. “I really really don’t mean to sound rude. But, we don’t need a little kid loosing their hand, Ad”

“I swear to god, if I get one more tourist trying to sue us because they stuck their hand through a fence and lost a finger, I’ll probably commit murder.”
I feel you my friend, believe me, I do.

So you’re gonna fault people for witnessing this generation’s miracle and failing to follow the rules? Alright, I guess. But all I know is if I see a triceratops I’m gonna hitch a ride.
Thing is, sometimes the dinosaurs can get really upset, and they can hurt people when they put their hands where the dinosaurs are. When this happens, the guests get really upset and blame everything on us.

Very good point there my friend!
Did anything happen when you were wearing that? I hope a dinosaur didn’t tear your shirt apart or something.

“I’m sure they care- their excitement probably just clouds their judgement. It’s hard not to want to touch a dinosaur, but you’re right. We really don’t want anyone to get hurt, I think they need to understand that.”
Probably you’re right. But it sometimes gets really frustrating, they just won’t listen. Exactly! It’s not like we want them to have any less fun or anything, we are just trying to help them and try to make their visit better.

What do you expect? They’re dinosaurs. Who doesn’t want to reach out and pet a fucking dinosaur?
And you can pet some dinosaurs, just not all of them! It’s just for their safety. I don’t get why people can’t seem to understand that.

“What did they try to touch this time?”
They just always insist on trying to touch the raptors or anything that like extremely dangerous. I really wonder if they actually care about their safety at all.

I’ve got to say, I love my job. There’s nothing more gratifying than watching the people’s expressions when they see all of the amazing animals in here. But I swear that if one more person touches something they aren’t supposed to, or goes in somewhere that they shouldn’t, I’ll go crazy.
#She's a tourist guide#maybe that way it'll make more sense#anyway I'm renee and this is Liv :) And we'd love to plot with you#nublarstarter

You know what I really like? Herbivores. They are like huge dogs, it’s amazing.
They are just so cute. Although, all dinosaurs are, they are all just so fascinating in some way or another. Even if some of them are creepy as hell.

Unless you want to lose an arm, I’d suggest not touching my dinosaurs.

I really do not want to lose an arm. I like them both, with me. So I will definitely keep that in mind.
