¡Ayudemos a Patricia!
Estimados usuarios de Tumblr,
¡Hola!

To be beat, someone can say "yeah I'm beat" which just means they're tired Gnarly in its most often used meaning means that something is like Gruesome or morbid, but sometimes it means something is cool too And to grind, someone can grind out some work, which means to just like get it done no matter how tedious or boring it is
wooo lots of answer, thank youu veeery much!!! <3

I live in New England, USA. Gnarly is outdated and is only really used ironically, never seriously. Grind is still used, meaning to work hard and to continuously do so. And To Be Beat, is still used when someone is tired or exhausted, but not used so much. Hope this helped!
Yes! This helps a lot, thanks youuu!

Dear American tumblr users,
I need to know the meaning of some slang words. Besides the meaning, I also need to know: 1) if you use it, 2) in case you don’t, why, 3)how often do you use it, 4)with what kind of people would you use that word.
The words are: gnarly, grind, to be beat.
It’s for an assignment, so if you could help me I’d really appreciate it. Thank youuuu.
