literally the only way that “wedding” could have been less about malex is if they forgot to show one or both of them on screen

just to summarize, no vows and no kiss at the altar, the wedding ceremony is about echo and the reception is about maria. maria almost certainly gets more screentime around the wedding than michael and alex combined.
