The whole world witnessed the tragedy that struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I survived many previous wars. But today we face the most dangerous and fiercest battle in the current war. We are in urgent need, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs of food, water and safe shelter.😍💔

Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, as my family and I were evacuated from southern Gaza to West Mawasi Khan Yunis, hoping to return soon, but it was not meant to happen. It was a new house I built before the war, it cost me a lot of money and I couldn't be happy with it. It was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed. Our home, once a bastion of hope, is now in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.

The night before we left for Mawasi Khan Yunis al-Bahr was terrifying. The sounds of bombing were everywhere, making a loud noise that seemed to penetrate our souls. Each explosion shook the ground like an earthquake, sending waves of fear through our trembling bodies. It fills us with fear. The smell of destruction and blood wafted through the air, making it difficult to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation all around us💘💝❤️‍🔥

Here is a picture of my friend Fidaa’s baby girl, Sila. Sila and her baby brother Muhammed are currently stuck in a situation so horrible that words struggle to describe it. 

Fidaa, (@fidaa-family2) the mother of these beautiful children, is a 29-year-old woman from Gaza who, during the war, was separated from her entire family and is currently being forced to take care of her two children, completely alone. 

Her children are both sick from the cold and the encroaching spread of diseases, and they are all in pain. She has been displaced with her children many, many times, each time having to dip into her precious evacuation funds to buy transportation. 

Every time she is displaced, she is forced to buy a new tent, which as we know costs $1,500… 

This makes her evacuation funds absolutely instrumental for her and her two small children’s survival, two children who I will now remind you are sick, hurting, and starving in a situation that nobody could have ever predicted. 

These conditions are absolutely catastrophic. They are apocalyptic. No child, no mother, no person should ever have to go through this. 

You can help. 

You can help by donating and sharing so that Fidaa is not forced to struggle any longer. All she hopes for is to get enough money to evacuate to Cairo so that she no longer is forced to rely on the black market for things as simple as food.

I am writing to you and asking for help in any way to restore what the occupation has destroyed since October 7, 2023, so that my family and I can survive the war and save what remains of our lives because Gaza has become unlivable. There is no longer a suitable place to live. There is no solution other than evacuation to survive. Unfortunately, the price of evacuation from Gaza is very expensive!! We cannot bear these costs. There is no solution but to help you by donating, sharing our story, or praying for us.

I am talking to you, and after thinking for a long time before taking this step, but I realized that there is nothing left for us in Gaza after the occupation destroyed all our possessions, possessions, dreams and future... My father is Wissam Muhammad Awad, 49 years old, and currently without any income and does not work for any institution, and my mother, Ahlam Mahmoud Awad, 44 years old, is without a job now, and she suffers from a benign tumor in the thyroid gland, and its treatment is now not available in the Gaza Strip. Because of the genocidal war, my mother did not receive treatment for more than a year, which made her weaker and weaker. And my brothers: Mahmoud Wissam Awad, 19 years old, did not receive high school due to the war, and this led to the destruction of his future. Nour Wissam Awad, 16 years old, was also deprived of her education and life, and her future was destroyed. Ahmed Wissam Awad, 13 years old, was also deprived of education and was deprived of his childhood like the rest of the world’s children. What is his fault when he wakes up to the sound of explosions? What is his fault for coming into an environment where there is nothing but murder and injustice?!
