KIM KARDASHIAN SPOTTED WITH NEW POWER SOCKET
This photo of the famous star Kim Kardashian has been taken in Florida last week. It seems like Kim is holding a male power socket that is directly connected to her dress. This “dress-socket” could be a prototype created by Auzentech. In fact, the power socket giant filed a patent for “Electronic fashion accessories” a few weeks ago. So of course, since this photo has been posted, many questions have occurred : Why is the power socket a European one? What is the technology behind that genius invention? And why taking the risk of a leak by exposing a prototype to the public?
I will try to keep you updated on this scandal!

iSocket Rumor
2017 will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and Apple has something major planned to celebrate the occasion. In fact, Apple is said to be working hard on a new Power Socket design that would be called : The iSocket.
Apple is rumored to be testing more than 10 new iSocket prototypes, so it's not entirely clear what we're going to see, and because there are so many test devices in play, rumors are also conflicting and murky at this time. It seems like Apple is planning to create a whole new design by adding a Touch ID fingerprint sensor directly onto the device's housing.
As for the inside, rumors suggest Apple is finally going to move away from the traditional "pin" socket used in power Sockets available on the market at this time, and instead will be using its so called "Pinless" technology created earlier this year.
This model coming in 2017 will use a glass body, according to Apple supplier Catcher Technology, and according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the glass will be built around an aluminum or stainless steel frame supporting the complex structure of the power socket.
On thing is sure, the device will be designed by Apple's CDO Jony Ive so we can be sure that the iSocket will be a fine and distinguished piece of Art.

Red & Raw. The perception of our society through the genius mind of Van Schnitzel. With this Art Piece, Schnitzel wanted to express the pain he was containing inside. Why he let the inside part of the socket white is still unclear but most experts think it is because Schnitzel still had a little faith in humanity. Other theories mention it is because he had not finished the work when he died in 1988 from a cancer.

Designed by the famous Japanese Artist Hisako Mizuho, Unfinished Thoughts is probably one of the most important piece of arts in the 20th century.
In her work, Mizuho directs the viewer´s eye around the power socket, with spacing between the pins and the curving contours creating a dot-to-dot effect. In Unfinished Thoughts, contoured forms are a means of expression and they are used to convey emotion. That is why the artist used raw material and did not cover the inner part of the socket. It is possible that his emotional state further dramatized his brush work for the outside painting. However, there is a consistency to his technique that adds even more depth as well as a rich texture to this work of art.

For my first post, I wanted to present you the F29, one of the best artworks in the power socket history. Designed by the Italian designer Mario Muscevicci, it is the perfect combination of circles and squares. For this model, he only used white to highlight the perfect curves with shadows produced by those. To get to this dual socket, Muscevicci used a 3D printer but painted everything by hand. That is why he is so famous for this work. Finally, what especially characterises this work is the rounded corners that Muscevicci added to the outer border of the sockets.
