This is gonna be a rant so to save your screen space I'm gonna put it as a "keep reading"

At the time this post was made a majority of OuaW was on AO3.

Around July 2024 the AO3 tag Gricko Grimgrin/Morning Frost only had 47 works. Of those 47 works, 24 were mature-explicit. Of those 24 works mature-explicit works, 18 were deliberately smut of Frost and Gricko. That amounts to only 38% of the entire tag. A vast majority was not, and currently is not, smut. I get being upset that fic you want doesn't exist yet, and at the same time it's not fair to pretend other authors weren't making sfw works. Self moderation and filter systems exist on most sites for a reason.

It drives me nuts that instead of using filter tools, encouraging other writers, or -heaven forbid- the user *writes* the fic they want to see in the world, they put down other authors.

Attitudes like that are a lose-lose for everybody.
