juliet almost choked on her ice cream, recovering just enough to avoid frozen death.

“ that’s funny! and, um, nice to meet you too, julie. i don’t usually – i usually get my ice cream from the market, but my friend gets hers here, so i thought, y’know, it’s safe. ”

concern is etched upon julie’s face as juliet practically chokes, but her worry quickly dissolves into a smile.

❝ oh ?  yeah, it’s definitely safe. my best friend’s    aunt owns the place, and i can guarantee she’s    one of the most trustworthy people you’d ever    meet. of course, i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t a    bit bias.  ❞

She hangs her head. “I shoulda known…” it’s work, rest assured– poor Candy here wouldn’t be able to tell if SWEETIE was used affectionately or condescendingly; she just likes the name. “But I thought he was a good guy!”

❝ i know ... and maybe he is ! just not good      enough for you or to you. you’ll find a           way better guy, i promise. ❞

She wells up again “he said that he only likes me in the dark– like he don’t wanna be seen with me in the day. Like what does that mean?”

❝ it means exactly what it sounds like. this    creep doesn’t actually want to be WITH          you, sweetie ... just INSIDE you. ❞

she added the “ sweetie “ so as not to sound too brash, but she’s not quite sure it worked.

She sniffs, shrugging “oh I don’t wanna trouble you…” but as her voice trails off, she adds quickly– almost desperately “but you know they say better out than in. I’m just having some guy trouble.”

❝ i’d say so. would you like t’talk    about it ? i’ve got a few minutes         before i’ve to head out. ❞

vrolet’s told her to be more social and this girl looked harmless enough. she might be fine to talk.

“ you’re, um, welcome. uh, i’m… my name’s juliet. “

  ❝ nice to meet you, juliet. i’m juliana,        but you can just call me julie. ❞

She briefly pauses to lick her ice cream. The teen then laughs to herself, wasting no time to share what has amused her                   with the other.

 ❝ -- it’s like we’re julie squared. ❞

juliet hands the ice cream off, thankful she was being trusted. because she wouldn’t trust herself. 

“ here you go! i promise i’m safe. ”

         ❝ i don’t doubt it. ❞

She takes the ice cream with a smile, clearly appreciative. Julie proceeds to speak up once more, gesturing to the             treat whilst doing so.

       ❝ thank you for this ! ❞

 “oh no! her boyfriend. well — guess i would   say ex now. not sure. it sounds like i’m a    terrible person —- trying to kiss somebody’s   girlfriend. now that i said it out loud — at least.”

After everything that had happened, the only thing  that Coley wanted to do was talk about it. She’s  stayed quiet about her crush on Sonya for so long that when she actually talked about it —– she just  rambled on and on. 

❝  it does sound bad, but i figure i should     give you the benefit of the doubt and trust     you had your reasons. of course, it’s not             my place to judge anyway.  ❞

She shrugs, tone matter-of-fact. Julie shifts her feet, debating whether or not to question the other further. She doesn’t wish to drive her off, but she can’t help but be inquisitive.

“Eh, that’s okay - fairs aren’t suppose to cost an arm and a leg to have fun - ” Though, if he were honest with himself, his breath caught a little in his throat when the sunny girl asked him to meet her friends. True, she was one too, but to meet a whole crowd ? He shuffled after her lazily. “Okay… Yeah, sure…”

                        ❝ don’t worry, they don’t bite. ❞

She  turns to flash him a smile, waiting for him to step up beside her The girl was brief with her introductions as she pointed out each member of the group, simultaneously saying their names while doing so. She then proceeded to point to Leo & share his name with the group. Each of them waved, saying their fleeting but friendly hellos. The teens then paired off so as to make walking on the sidewalk                                                  easier.

two headcanons you have for your muse that you never told anyone:         1.  Julie thinks red heads are bomb af.         2.  She is almost always nice to others because she just really              loves making others feel happy. That’s why Julie wants to              become a singer so badly, because she knows music can              truly effect emotions & change lives, & she’d simply love to be             apart of that. three things that your muse loves doing in their free time.         1. singing.         2. dancing.         3. acting. five people that your muse loves/admires:         1. This is more than 5 people but her group of friends             from school. She loves them all v much.         2. Her dad         3. Her mom         4. Be ....         5. ... yonce three fond childhood memories.         1. any memory of christmas is bound to be her favorite.         2. her 9th birthday bc she got to go to broadway to see             one of her favorite musicals. that was probably the first              time she’d went, because she’s been multiple times              since then.      3. summer vacations entail many, many fond childhood          memories.

two things your muse regrets.        1. not telling this girl in her class how she felt  her sophomore year,            because when julie was finally ready to do so the girl announced            she was moving.         2.  ??? ahhh idk one thing they’d go through heaven or hell to save/change.         as of now, nothing.

she takes the band-aids, placing them on the scars and rough spots on her face. a small smile in a way of saying thanks graces her features.

          “i didn’t start it but … i was about to                kiss somebody that i REALLY like —- &                then bam. i’m on the ground. face smacked                on the pavement. it did … really hurt.”

        ❝  i’m sure. it’s just good you made it                out alright. the person that you like                wasn’t the one to push you  on the                                ground, right  ? ❞

She was going to preface her query with something along the lines of “ i don’t mean to be nosy “, but that would be a lie. Julie very well meant to be nosy, but it wasn’t often she actually spoke to anyone her age that had gotten into fights. Of course, this simply could have been a one time thing for the other; but with the path of questions Julie was on, she                   would be sure to ask about that, too.
